Councilman Haas suggested a committee be formed to meet with residents, <br />and report to the Council their findings relative to design, storm water control, and project costs. <br />Mayor Stoltzman and Council member Petryk agreed to serve on the committee. <br />Petryk made motion, Haas seconded, to create a committee consisting of Walter Stoltzman, Becky <br />Petryk, and members of the Board of the Oakshore Homeowners Association, in an attempt to work <br />out details for improvements in the development. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Petryk made motion, Stoltzman seconded, to table this matter until the Council meeting of May 1, <br />2000, at which time the committee will report their findings. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />PEGGY SAND (WILDLIFE URBAN PROJECT) <br />Peggy Sand was present at the meeting to discuss a grant application for 1999-2001 Minnesota <br />ReLeaf Community Forest Inventory Program. Also considered was a Letter of Agreement <br />between the City of Hugo and the DNR. <br />Petryk made motion, Barnes seconded, to the City of Hugo approve the Letter of Agreement with <br />the DNR, and authorize the Mayor to sign said Agreement. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Stoltzman made motion, Petryk seconded, to authorize processing of the grant application for the <br />Wildlife Urban Project. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />ALTERNATE PC MEMBERS <br />Councilman Haas requested the Council consider amending the makeup of the City's Planning <br />Commission by adding alternate numbers. <br />Barnes made motion, Petryk seconded, to schedule a public hearing for March 20, 2000, 7:00 pm, <br />to consider a "housecleaning" ordinance, including the above matter. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />OPINION SURVEY <br />Council member Petryk requested the Council discuss conducting an opinion survey of the <br />community. No formal action was taken on this matter. <br />
