City Council meeting of February 22, 2000 Page 4 opposed to the project. Councilman Haas suggested a committee be formed to meet with residents, and report to the Council their findings relative to design, storm water control, and project costs. Mayor Stoltzman and Council member Petryk agreed to serve on the committee. Petryk made motion, Haas seconded, to create a committee consisting of Walter Stoltzman, Becky Petryk, and members of the Board of the Oakshore Homeowners Association, in an attempt to work out details for improvements in the development. All aye. Motion Carried. Petryk made motion, Stoltzman seconded, to table this matter until the Council meeting of May 1, 2000, at which time the committee will report their findings. All aye. Motion Carried. PEGGY SAND (WILDLIFE URBAN PROJECT) Peggy Sand was present at the meeting to discuss a grant application for 1999-2001 Minnesota ReLeaf Community Forest Inventory Program. Also considered was a Letter of Agreement between the City of Hugo and the DNR. Petryk made motion, Barnes seconded, to the City of Hugo approve the Letter of Agreement with the DNR, and authorize the Mayor to sign said Agreement. All aye. Motion Carried. Stoltzman made motion, Petryk seconded, to authorize processing of the grant application for the Wildlife Urban Project. All aye. Motion Carried. ALTERNATE PC MEMBERS Councilman Haas requested the Council consider amending the makeup of the City's Planning Commission by adding alternate numbers. Barnes made motion, Petryk seconded, to schedule a public hearing for March 20, 2000, 7:00 pm, to consider a "housecleaning" ordinance, including the above matter. All aye. Motion Carried. OPINION SURVEY Council member Petryk requested the Council discuss conducting an opinion survey of the community. No formal action was taken on this matter.
