City Council meeting of April 3, 2000 <br />Page 4 <br />Council regarding certain clauses of the Agreement; the Council stated that these concerns should be <br />handled administratively. A lengthy discussion continued regarding storm water fees for the site. <br />Barnes made motion, Leroux seconded, to table approval of the Development Agreemetn to allow <br />staff time to amend the document, including ponding issues. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />PETITION TO VACATE EASEMENT <br />The Council considered a petition from David Schumann to vacate existing pondage and flowage <br />easements on the proposed Deer Park Estates Subdivision. Mr. Schumann's intent is to provide the <br />City revised easements as part of the project reflecting the current wetland delineations. <br />Leroux made motion, Barnes seconded, to conduct a public hearing on the proposed easement <br />vacation at the Council meeting of May 1, 2000. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />PETITION TO VACATE A PORTION OF ELMCREST AVENUE <br />The Council considered a petition from Pratt Oakwood Arnt Land Development to vacate that portion <br />of Elmcrest Avenue adjacent to their property. The Wenzel Farms Planned Unit Development was <br />approved subject to the developer realigning Elmcrest Avenue through their development. The City <br />of Lino Lakes will need to concurrently conduct a vacation hearing for that portion of Elmcrest <br />Avenue lying in their community. <br />Haas made motion, Leroux seconded, to conduct a hearing on the proposed vacation at the City <br />Council meeting of May 1, 2000. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />COMMERCIALANDUSTRIAL BUILDING STANDARDS <br />At their regular meeting of March 20, 2000, the Council tabled action on a proposed ordinance <br />amending Hugo City Code, Chapter 320, establishing commercial/industrial building standards, and <br />directed staff to prepare an amendment to the proposed ordinance allowing existing buildings, not in <br />compliance with the ordinance, to expand. <br />Haas made motion, Leroux seconded, to adopt ORDINANCE 2000-340, AN ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING CHAPTER 320 BY ESTABLISHING COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL <br />BUILDING STANDARDS. <br />VOTING AYE: Barnes, Haas, Leroux, Petryk, Stotltzman <br />Motion Carried. <br />
