City Council meeting of May 1, 2000 <br />Page 4 <br />changes have been made: 1) page 3, 2b, "development located within sixty (60) feet from the <br />centerline; 2) top of page 6, fill in blank, "before November 1, 2000; final lift of blacktop <br />completed July, 2001' ; 3) top of page 7, fill in blank, " calculated by the City Engineer to be <br />$38,000"; 4) page 8/9, PARK FEE — "Said park dedication fee shall be due for eight (8) lots <br />within this plat (i.e., total due equals $10,800)"; 5) page 10 (???Mike — something about two <br />building permits); 6) bottom page 11, "escrow $997.50 - $1.90 per foot for the 525 ft of streets; 7) <br />page 14, add — "City Code Enforcement officer shall inspect to confirm compliance with all <br />Development Agreement requirements." Delete — reference to Amended SUP; next line delete <br />"other"; and 9) top of page 15 — Upon the sale of Lot 6....". <br />Haas made motion, Petryk seconded, to amend the previous motion to include sending of letter to <br />Dave Schumann allowing the cleanup process to continue for 120 days after filing of the plat at <br />Washington County. <br />AMENDMENT: All aye. Motion Carried. <br />ORIGINAL MOTION: All aye. Motion Carried. <br />VACATION EASEMENTS (DEER PARK ESTATES) — SCHUMANN <br />Mr. David Schumann requested that a vacation be granted by the City for an abandoned township <br />road right-of-way, also known as Frank Courteau Road, which lies within the proposed plat for <br />Deer Park Estates. The vacation would clean up the easements in the area. The City Engineer <br />recommended that the City Council grant the easement for Frank Courteau Road since it no longer <br />serves a significant value to the City of Hugo. The Mayor called the public hearing to order to <br />consider the vacation request, and there were no oral or written comments. <br />Leroux made motion, Barnes seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 2000-11, A RESOLUTION <br />VACATING PONDING AND FLOWAGE EASEMENTS WITHIN THE PLAT OF DEER <br />PARK ESTATES AND VACATING THE ABANDONED FRANK COURTEAU ROAD <br />WITHIN THE PLAT OF DEER PARK ESTATES. <br />VOTING AYE: Barnes, Haas, Leroux, Petryk, Stoltzman <br />Motion Carried. <br />FINAL PLAT (TOWNHOMES OF BALD EAGLE) — ROYAL OAKS REALTY <br />The City Engineer recommended approval of the final plat for the Townhomes of Bald Eagle with <br />a reduction to 185 units from the preliminary plat that had 194 units. Approval is recommended <br />contingent on the resolution of the street names within the development. A separate trail <br />easement for along Fenway Boulevard will need to be provided. Council member Petryk <br />questioned open space and how much was "usable". <br />Leroux made motion, Stoltzman seconded, to approve the final plat for TOWNHOMES OF <br />BALD EAGLE, subject to a trail easement along the west side of Fenway Blvd. <br />VOTING AYE: Barnes, Haas, Leroux, Stoltzman <br />
