City Council meeting of November 6, 2000 Page 9 Stoltzman made motion, Barnes seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 2000-44, A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PROPOSAL ON SALE OF $1,015,000 GO TEMPORARY IMPROVEMENT BONDS, SERIES 2000B, PROVIDNG FOR THEIR ISSUANCE AND PLEDGING FOR THE SECURITY THEREOF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS. VOTING AYE: Barnes, Haas, Leroux, Petryk, Stoltzman Motion Carried. TAX ABATEMENT TOOL FOR PELOOUIN INDUSTRIAL PARK The City's financial advisor, Rusty Fifield, was present with Council to discuss tax abatement as a tool for the Council to consider in the funding of the public improvements for the Peloquin Industrial Park project. Rusty provided a discussion paper on the issua, and Council opted to discuss it at a later date. FINAL ACCEPTANCE (SWEET GRASS MEADOWS 1ST ADDITION) KG Development, developer for the Sweet Grass Meadows subdivision, made application to the City for acceptance of the 0 Addition. The City Engineer reviewed the request, and found work to be in acceptance with the Development Agreement and development standards as described in the Agreement, and recommended final acceptance for Sweet Grass Meadows I" Addition. Leroux made motion, Barnes seconded, to accept the recommendation of the City Engineer and approve final acceptance for Sweet Grass Meadows 1" Addition. The developer shall work with staff on the final landscape work around Outlot A. All aye. Motion Carried. FINAL ACCEPTANCE (SWEET GRASS MEADOWS 2ND ADDITION) KG Development, developer for the Sweet Grass Meadows subdivision, made application to the City for acceptance of the 2°d Addition. The City Engineer reviewed the request, and found work to be in acceptance with the Development Agreement and development standards as described in the Agreement, and recommended final acceptance for Sweet Grass Meadows 2"d Addition. Barnes made motion, Leroux seconded, to accept the recommendation of the City Engineer and approve final acceptance of Sweet Grass Meadows 2"d Addition, subject to: 1) sod placement in the boulevard areas along Oneka Lake Boulevard and Goodview Avenue in or adjacent to Outlot A; 2) mowing of Outlot A in areas not to receive sod; and 3) slip seeding of areas with Outlot A not receiving sod with a MnDot SE Native Forbs seed mix. All aye. Motion Carried. RELEAF GRANT USE FOR MLCCS The City of Hugo has been working with the DNR to complete the Wildland-Urban Interface Project.
