City Council meeting of March 2, 1998 <br />Page 3 <br />Leroux made motion, Barnes seconded, that the following action be taken: <br />1. Proceed with obtaining an appraisal of the Bueno property. <br />2. Proceed with assessments on a front -footage basis. <br />3. No credit be allowed for existing septic systems. <br />4. City shall prepare an assessment roll according to guidelines. <br />5. A public hearing be scheduled to consider assessments for the project. <br />6. The City negotiate with the Buenos to obtain an easement for construction of Fenway <br />Avenue. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Public discussion on construction of Fenway Boulevard continued. Both Judd Jackson <br />and Ken Tschida would like more time to review the appraisals submitted this date. The <br />Council then continued their discussion, with Council member Barnes stating that <br />construction of 134th Street should be a City -controlled project. It was the Council's <br />consensus that assessments be on a front -foot basis. <br />Barnes made motion, Arcand seconded, to adjourn the Fenway Boulevard assessment <br />hearing to provide an opportunity for property owners to review proposed assessments. <br />Hearing to be reconvened after all legalities for the assessment process are satisfied. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Barnes made motion, Arcand seconded, to close the road improvement hearing on Fenway <br />Boulevard. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Leroux made motion, Barnes seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 1998-7, A <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE FENWAY <br />BOULEVARD AND FENWAY AVENUE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECTS. <br />VOTING AYE: Arcand, Barnes, Goiffon, Leroux, Miron <br />Motion Carried. <br />Barnes made motion, Goiffon seconded, to close the roadway hearing for Fenway Ave. <br />All aye.
