Neighbors to the south of the dismantling operation were present encouraging erection of the <br />steel fencing to provide them with screening. Everyone agreed that vegetation would not <br />survive for screening purposes. <br />Miron made motion, Goiffon seconded, to amend the previous motion that screening, <br />consisting of an 8' steel fencing, be started this summer along the south property line. Fencing <br />concerns will be addressed on one year at renewal time. <br />VOTE ON AMENDMENT: All aye. Motion Carried. <br />VOTE ON ORIGINAL MOTION: <br />VOTING AYE: Arcand, Goiffon, Leroux, Miron <br />VOTING NAY: Barnes <br />Motion Carried. <br />PUD (ONEKA LAKE VEEW) <br />Marvin and Yvonne Christianson, 6178 Oneka Lake Blvd., and North Suburban Development, <br />Inc., Spring Lake Park, Mn., requested to subdivide by PUD 20.9 acres into 95 townhome <br />sites. This matter was considered by the PC at their meeting of April 22, 1998, at which time <br />they recommended approval of the PUD in preliminary plat, subject to the Findings of Fact and <br />Recommendations. The Council asked that the following be included in the document: <br />reference to the Development Agreement; review of the project by the Fire Chief to insure <br />access for safety equipment; and inclusion of reference to a landscaping plan. The developer, <br />as well as the builders, explained the project to the Council and provided visuals of the <br />development. <br />Leroux made motion, Goiffon seconded, to approve the preliminary plat for the PUD for <br />Oneka Lake View development subject to the amended Findings of Fact and <br />Recommendations. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />PRELIMINARY PLAT (CLEARWATER CREEK PRESERVES) <br />Mr. George Indykiewicz, 1920 W. Highway 96, Arden Hills, and the Backes Company, 7026 <br />Brooklyn Blvd., requested preliminary plat approval for the development known as Clearwater <br />Creek Preserves on approximately 165 acres located along the west side of TH61, in the NE <br />1/4 of Section 17. The applicants are requesting 220 single family lots on the property. This <br />matter was considered by the PC at their meeting of April 22, 1998, at which time they <br />recommended approval of the preliminary plat subject to the Findings of Fact and <br />Recommendations. <br />Miron made motion, Leroux seconded, to table this matter until the Council meeting of May <br />18, 1998. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />
