City Council meeting of May 5, 1997 <br />Page 3 <br />considered this request at their meeting of April 23, 1997 and recommended approval <br />subject to conditions. <br />Miron made motion, Goiffon seconded, to approve the SUP, site plan, and variance for <br />Dr. Bill Barrett, 5673 147th Street, to construct a 2,800 sq ft addition to the existing <br />building, a clock tower, and parking area, subject to the following conditions: <br />1. Engineer's approval of the stormwater and roof water runoff proposal. <br />2. Allow parking space in the northwest corner of the site, if approved <br />by the City Engineer. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />INDUSTRIAL SITE PLAN - GLAMOS FAMILY PARTNERSHIP <br />The Glamos Family Limited Partnership, Inc., is requesting to revise the existing <br />industrial site plan to accommodate a 30,000 square foot building addition to the north <br />side of the existing 40,000 square foot industrial building. The property is located in the <br />Peloquin Industrial Park at 5564 152nd Street. The property is zoned and guided <br />industrial. The proposed addition is planned to match the existing building and involves <br />no new employees. The PC considered this request at their meeting of April 23, 1997, <br />and recommended approval subject to conditions. The Council requested that Paul <br />Glamos, present at the meeting, to submit a plan showing landscaping and parking lot <br />lighting to the City Engineer. <br />Miron made motion, Barnes seconded, to approve the Site Plan for Glamos Wire <br />Products to construct a 30,000 sq ft building addition to the north side of the existing <br />40,000 sq ft industrial building. Approval is subject to the following conditions: <br />1. Removal of debris scattered around the site. <br />2. Base material be applied to the driveway surface on the east side and dock area of the <br />building. <br />3. Eliminate, relocate, or screen the propane tank. <br />4. In Phase 4 of construction, the 50' x 80' building will be remodeled so as to create a <br />a uniform appearance. <br />5. Approval from, and compliance with, the RCWD permit. <br />6. Financial guarantee to ensure paving, landscaping, and roadway improvements <br />following the public improvements to 152nd Street in the industrial park. The Glamos <br />Family Limited Partnership, Inc., to enter into a Development Agreement with the <br />City. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />
