City Council meeting of June 16, 1997 <br />Page 3 <br />BOBBER'S BOATS AND BAIT <br />Mr. McElmury requested that his hearing date be extended to July 21, 1997. <br />Miron made motion, Barnes seconded, to table the hearing until July 21,1997 to consider <br />allegations of violations of the liquor ordinance and the SUP. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />DOG COMPLAINT <br />Because of an two separate unprovoked attacks by a Rottweiler known as "Samantha", <br />the City Attorney determined that the animal should be considered a "dangerous animal" <br />and removed from the City. The owners of the animal were present at the meeting, and <br />stated that they would soon be married and moving from the City. They requested that <br />they be allowed seven (7) days in which to find another location for the animal, and in the <br />mean time, would keep the animal in the house or chained when they are in the yard with <br />the animal. <br />Goiffon made motion, Barnes seconded, to allow the owners of the Rottweiler named <br />"Samantha" seven days from today's date (6/16/97) in which to find another location for <br />the animal, and the animal be kept in the house or chained when they are in the yard with <br />the animal. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />SUNSET LAKE PARKING COMPLAINT <br />The City received a letter from a resident along Sunset Lake stating their concerns with <br />the large number of cars and trailers parking along the cul-de-sac at the end of Homestead <br />Drive. <br />Barnes made motion, Goiffon seconded, directing the Fire Chief to inspect the above- <br />mentioned site on a weekend to determine if there is adequate room for emergency <br />vehicles to access the area, and report his findings to the City Council. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Miron made motion, Goiffon seconded, directing the Maintenance Supervisor to inspect <br />signs from 125th Street to C.R. 7 to determine if signs remaining are adequate. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />
