City Council meeting of July 7, 1997 <br />Page 2 <br />SUBDMSION (110MUSUMMERS) <br />Shirley Nelson Hill, 9105 130th Street North, requested a minor subdivision of her <br />property at the above address in order to split one acre from the 20.9 acre parcel, and <br />transfer it to the adjacent property owner, Mr. Roger Summers, 9171 130th Street, in <br />order to rectify drainfield and driveway encroachments on Ms. Hills' property from the <br />Summers' residence. The Planning Commission considered this request at their meeting <br />of June 25, 1997, and recommended approval of the subdivision conditioned upon the <br />one acre being split from the Hill residence be combined with the property at 9171 130th <br />Street, in order that no new lot be created. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved <br />the subdivision as conditioned. <br />CORRECTION OF RECORD (OLSEN) <br />James, Krisann, and Maureen Olsen, 12152 Everton Avenue, requested a correction of the <br />survey and description of their property located at the above address. During a previous <br />subdivision of the original lot on which their property is located, an error was made in the <br />description of their property that resulted in a small sliver of property along 121 st Street <br />being included in their lot, when it should have been included with the property located at <br />12122 Everton Avenue. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the Clerk certifying <br />the revised property descriptions to the County Recorder's Office. <br />The City's Fire Chief provided the Council with a list of firefighters who have completed <br />the training requirements and probationary period to become full members of the <br />Department. Adoption of the Consent Agenda appointed Chad Olson, Dean White, and <br />Eric Haines as regular members of the Hugo Volunteer Fire Department. <br />1996 AUDIT REPORT <br />Jim Payette and Linda Graupman, of Boyum & Barenscheer, were present at the meeting <br />to discuss the City's 1996 audit report. <br />Barnes made motion, Goiffon seconded, to accept the 1996 audit report from Boyum & <br />Barenscheer, as submitted. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />PUBLIC HEARING (VACATION OF DRAINAGE/UTILITY EASEMENT) <br />A public hearing was called to consider the petition of Michael Wilke, 550 Koehler Road, <br />Vadnais Heights, MN., to reduce the drainage and utility easement on his property at Lot <br />2, Block 3, Oneka Lakes subdivision from the existing 55' down to 30'.
