City Council meeting of July 7, 1997 <br />Page 3 <br />him to construct a home on the property that would otherwise encroach on the easement. <br />The Administrator reported that the RCWD needs only a 25' on each side of the channel, <br />and had no problem with the request. Council member Johnson inquired as to why the 55' <br />easement was originally granted, and there was no logical answer. The public hearing was <br />called to order and there were no oral or written comments regarding the request. <br />Leroux made motion, Goiffon seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 1997-12, A <br />RESOLUTION VACATING A PORTION OF THE DRAINAGE/UTILITY <br />EASEMENT LOCATED ON LOT 2, BLOCK 3, ONEKA LAKES SUED. <br />VOTING AYE: Barnes, Goiffon, Leroux, Miron <br />VOTING NAY: Johnson <br />Motion Carried. <br />HARDWOOD CREEK REPORT <br />Pete Willenbring, of WSB, was present to review the report entitled HYDRAULIC <br />SURVEY - JUDICIAL DITCH #2. <br />Barnes made motion, Leroux seconded, to accept the report and direct Mr. Willenbring to <br />forward information to the RCWD and schedule a meeting with them to review the data. <br />All aye. Motion Carded. <br />SUP INSPECTION REPORT (BOBBER'S BOATS AND BAIT) <br />At the City Council meeting of May 19, 1997, the Council directed the City's Building <br />Official to conduct an inspection of 4444 129th Street to determine if the property is in <br />compliance with the SUP issued for the site as follows-. <br />!. Whether miscellaneous equipment and parts stored on the site have been collected and <br />enclosed so as not to be observable from off the property; <br />2. The amount of dockage on the site has been reduced to the 200' allowed in the Permit <br />s. The vegetation has been planted and maintained on the property lines to screen view <br />of the business from adjacent property. <br />An inspection of the property on July 1, 1997 showed that adequate screening is in place <br />for summer -foliage conditions, and the miscellaneous parts and equipment stored on the <br />site were orderly and neatly organized. The amount of dockage on the site has been <br />reduced to the 200' allowed. <br />Miron made motion, Goiffon seconded, to accept the Building Official's report and make <br />part of the record. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />
