Motion Carried. <br />REQUEST TO_CHANGE SANITARY SEWER EASEMENT <br />The City received a request from Granger's Inc., for redes.ignating the <br />public utility easement across their property located in the southeast <br />quadrant of the intersection of T.H. 61 and 148th Street. The City <br />Attorney's recommendation in this matter was provided to the Council. <br />Staff requests the establishment of a public hearing date, as required by <br />law, to consider the change of easement. <br />Leroux made motion, Goiffon seconded, to schedule a public hearing for <br />February h, 1995, for the purpose of vacation of the sanitary sewer <br />easement .located on property of Granger's Inc. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />DESIGNATION OF OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER <br />The Council received a memo from the City Administrator recommending that. <br />the Forest Lake Times be designated as the official newspaper of the City <br />for 1995. After discussion, and a commitment by Michelle Larson of the <br />White Bear Press to allow a Tuesday morning deadline for publication of <br />City legal notices, the following motion was made: <br />Barnes made motion, Leroux seconded, to appoint the White Bear Press as <br />the City's official newspaper for 1995. <br />VOTING AYE: Barnes, Leroux, Miron <br />VOTING NAY: Goiffon, LaValle <br />Motion Carried. <br />BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT APPOINTMENTS <br />Leroux: made motion, LaValle seconded, that the following_ individuals be <br />appointed to the City's Board of Adjustments for 1995: Ken Rubenzer <br />(Planning Commission), Andrew Goiffon (City Council), and Bernard Brunotte <br />(public appointment). <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />POST OFFICE DEVELOPMENT <br />City staff has been in contact with the U.S. P=ostal Service regarding <br />development of a new Post Office in the City of Hugo. The Postal Service <br />has indicated a willingness to work with the City in finding an adequate <br />site for this facility, and a meeting between the City Administrator and <br />Postal Service has been scheduled for January 18, 1995.
