Planning Commission Minutes — August 10, 2006 <br />Page 3 <br />residential units. <br />Rosenquist asked about the sidewalk placement. <br />Hickey stated there will be sidewalks east to Victor Hugo Boulevard to create access to the residents to <br />the bank. He stated they wanted to orient the sidewalks to the roundabout but, has no problem adding the <br />sidewalks. <br />Bailly stated that she liked the drawn elevations better than the new ones; it has more architectural detail <br />and quality. Overall she liked the project but would like to see the features from the drawing added back <br />in. <br />Hickey stated some of the features were eliminated to create the skylight, vaulted ceilings, and gabled <br />roofs. <br />Schumann opened the public hearing. There were no comments and Schumann closed the public hearing. <br />Hoffbeck asked if the Postal Credit Union would be open to the public. <br />Hickey stated that it is not limited to only postal workers and is open to the public. <br />Schumann asked if the resolutions would be updated. <br />The Planner stated that they already have been. <br />Schumann stated he would be more comfortable if the sign was not as big but still visible to people <br />passing by. <br />Weidt asked if it would be a boxed sign. <br />The Planner stated that it is not a boxed sign; it will be individual halo -lit letters and logo. <br />Hoffbeck stated it was a nice and attractive building. <br />Rosenquist stated it will blend in well with Victor Gardens and it will be good for the community. <br />Kleissler stated she was comfortable with the plan and has no issues. <br />Weidt made a motion, Hoffbeck seconded, to approve the Victor Gardens North Village 4th Addition <br />Preliminary Plat and PUD for Postal Credit Union. <br />All ayes. Motion carried. <br />Victor Gardens South Village PUD Amendment <br />The Commission considered a PUD amendment for Victor Gardens South Village located south of <br />Frenchmen Road (CSAH 8) and east of Victor Hugo Boulevard. <br />The Planner explained that a PUD general plan was approved in 2003 that consisted of two buildings and <br />
