DEAN NELSON - REZONING <br />. <br />Hugo Planning Commission <br />July 8, 1981 <br />Page 2 of 5 <br />The Planning Commision considered the request of Mr. Nelson to rezone approximately <br />20 acres from CONS to AG. Greger again stated that.he did not feel the two lots <br />consisted of 20 acres and suggested Mr. Flannery have the surveyor recheck the <br />calculations. Lorch stated that he had no objection to the rezoning because it was <br />consistent with the balance of the property across the road and north. <br />Motion made by Lorch, seconded by Peloquin, to recommend approval of the rezoning <br />request of Dean Nelson to rezone 20 acres from.CONS to AG per the submitted Cer- <br />tificate of Survey. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Mr. Flannery was provided an application for Land Division to divide the parcels <br />if rezoning approved by the City Council. <br />NORMAN HORTON - AUTO DISMANTLING LICENSES (2) <br />Mr. Suudeen and Mr. Nelson were present and provided a picture of the yard with <br />the new parking signs. Signs have been placed within the yard that should make <br />it clear where patrons should park. The highway department has been contacted, <br />and will be placing barricades along the right-of-way for further protection. <br />Two separate licenses are required for two separate operations on the same property, <br />with one SUP for entire piece. <br />Motion made by Lorch, seconded by Peltier, to recommend approval for the renewal <br />of two (2) Auto Dismantling Licenses for Norman Horton for a period of one year. <br />The $1,500.00 bond is continuous unless notified otherwise. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />GARY GULLIKSON - SITE PLAN APPROVAL <br />Mr. Gullickson, 5651 180th Street, owns 2 acres in the AG zone, and would like to <br />construct a 40 x 60 pole barn for personal storage. Mr. Gullikson stated that <br />he has made application for a Driveway Permit. <br />Motion made by Lorch, seconded by Greger, to recommend approval of the request of <br />Gary Gullikson, 5651 180th Street, to construct a 40 x 60 pole barn for his per- <br />sonal use and storage, as per the submitted Site Plan. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />VERN PELOQUIN - MINOR SUBDIVISION <br />Mr. Peloquin provided proof -of -ownership for the land to be divided in the park. <br />Land to be divided is to be sold to Hubbard Broadcasting for installation of on <br />earth satellite station and 14 x 30 building. Mr. Peloquin also submitted a <br />letter that will be forwarded to the -City Council for reconsideration of his plat. <br />The land to be divided will be known as Lots 11 & 12, Block 4, when the final plat <br />is approved. Mr. Peloquin stated that he will be meeting with reps from Rice Creek <br />Watershed to discuss the overall drainage plan in the park. <br />
