It is the responsibility of the Special Use Permit holder to <br />furnish a correct updated contour map to the City Engineer <br />by October 3, 1977. <br />VOTING FOR: Peloquin, Peltier, and Ehret <br />VOTING NO: McAllister <br />ABSTAINED: Gillen <br />Motion carried. <br />Recessed 9:12 Reconvened 9:22 <br />Robert Ricci - Variance and Special Use Permit <br />Mr. Ricci was present stating that he would like to purchase Paul's <br />Pizza ( property and building). His plan is to add on to the present <br />structure to the north (24' x 401). The variance is going to be <br />needed for the eastern property line. Mr. Ricci presented a letter <br />signed by the adjoining property owners (Edward Waugh, Roy Shoberg, <br />and Richard Seifert) stating they had no objection to Mr. Ricci <br />adding on the present building within ten feet (101) of the rear <br />property line. Mr. Ricci presented a plan for the exterior changes <br />and the interior plan. Ehret asked if it would be possible to <br />delete 2 feet from the rear yard extension making the addition <br />24' x 38' keeping him 5P from the property line. Ricci stated that <br />there might be a problem with the rear door. <br />McAllister made motion, seconded by Gillen, that the Planning Commission <br />recommend approval of the variance request made by Robert Ricci, to <br />build no closer than 5' from the eastern property line. <br />VOTING FOR: Peloquin, Peltier, Gillen, McAllister, and Ehret <br />Motion Carried. <br />Mr. Ricci stated that he will remove the northernmost driveway on <br />Highway 61, making one entrance on Highway 61, and one on 141st Street. <br />Ehret stated that a rough draft of what the front of the building is <br />going to look like should be on file. (Gillen left meeting at 9:50 PM). <br />McAllister said he felt Mr. Ricci would do a nice job, because of <br />other things he has done in the community. <br />Motion made by McAllister, seconded by Peloquin, that the Planning <br />Commission recommend approval of the Special Use Permit for Robert <br />Ricci to expand the existing restaurant, subject to the following: <br />1. The building be constructed according to site plan as presented <br />to the Planning Commission. <br />2. Mr. Ricci is to blacktop the area to be used as driveway and <br />parking lot no later than September 30, 1978. <br />
