Motion Carried. <br />REQUEST FOR TEMPORARY HELP (PUBLIC UTILITIESZ <br />Roger Bacon, the City's Utility Superintendent, requested authority to <br />employ, on a temporary, as -needed basis, an individual to assist him in <br />his duties in operating and maintaining the City's sewer and water <br />system. He recommended that the temporary help be paid $7.00 an hour. <br />Staff recommended that Mr. Bacon be allowed to employ temporary help, from <br />time to time, with the approval of the City Administrator. <br />Stolt man made motion, Barnes seconded, to authorize employment of <br />temporary help, on an as -needed basis, to assist Roger Bacon in his duties <br />in operating and maintaining the City's sewer and water system. Rate of <br />pay to be set at $7.Ot) per hour. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />CEMETERY ORDINANCE <br />The City Council reviewed a proposed ordinance regarding the City's <br />proposed participation and maintenance of the Walker cemetery. 'This <br />ordinance establishes a mechanism for the City to assist the Sunshiner's <br />4H Club in the care and restoration of the cemetery. <br />Leroux, made motion, Miron seconded, to schedule a public hearing for June <br />20, 1994, at 7:05 PM, to consider an ordinance regarding the City's <br />proposed participation and maintenance of the Walker cemetery. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />WILD ANIMAL ORDINANCE <br />The City Attorney prepared a draft ordinance regulating the keeping of <br />wild animals in the City of Hugo. The ordinance prohibits the keeping of <br />any wild, dangerous, or nondomesticated animals within the corporate <br />limits of the City, except as specifically permitted by the ordinance. <br />Miron made motion, Brunotte seconded, to table this matter to allow time <br />for the City Attorney to make revisions to the ordinance, as requested by <br />the Council. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />
