City Council meeting of June 1.994 <br />P a a e <br />to review City ordinances regarding allowing rock: crushing as part of the <br />Mining Permit. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />FINDINGS OF FACT (BRAMSTEDT REZONING <br />On June 6, 1994, the Hugo City Council denied an application made by <br />Harold and Nancy Bramstedt to rezone approximately 20 acres located in the <br />north east quadrant of the intersection of Goodview Avenue and County Road <br />BA from SFE to SFLJ. Per Council direction, the City Attorney prepared <br />Findings of Fact to Outline the reasons for denial. <br />Leroux made motion, Miron seconded, to accept the Findings of Fact, as <br />drafted by the City Attorney, outlininq the reasons for denial of the <br />Harold and Nancy Bramstedt rezoning request. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />WILD ANIMAL ORDINANCE <br />The Council considered a draft ordinance, prepared by the City Attorney, <br />on June 6, 1994. The ordinance cited regulations for control and <br />maintenance of wild animals in the City of Hugo. The Council expressed <br />concerns regarding the definitions used for wild animals in the draft <br />ordinance, and the City Attorney prepared a revised ordinance for Council <br />consideration. After hearing PLAblic concerns expressed from the floor, it <br />was determined revisions would be necessary to limit the impact of the <br />ordinance to only those animals which could be a public safety hazard to <br />the community. 'The City Attorney is to review State and Federal policies <br />and provide a recommendation to the Council. <br />BALD EAGLE AREA ASSOCIATION REQUEST <br />The BEAR seeks to control the debris left on Fuld Eagle Lake following the <br />ice fishing season through regulating the construction and maintenance of <br />ice houses on the lake. The Association requested that a Council member <br />from the City of Hugo be appointed to work with a committee, made up of <br />representatives from each municipality adjacent to the lake and the DNR, <br />to develop these regulations. <br />Leroux; made motion, Miron seconded, to appoint Councilman Brunotte as <br />Hugo's representative. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />1994 CRACK SEAL PROGRAM <br />Washington County has entered into a contract with the Bergman Companies, <br />Inc., for crack filling of county roads. The contract price of $0.87 per <br />pound of material may be extended to the City of Hugo. Included for <br />Council consideration was a price estimate and separate report from the <br />City Engineer regarding the crack filling of 165th Street. <br />
