City Council meeting of June 1.994 P a a e to review City ordinances regarding allowing rock: crushing as part of the Mining Permit. All aye. Motion Carried. FINDINGS OF FACT (BRAMSTEDT REZONING On June 6, 1994, the Hugo City Council denied an application made by Harold and Nancy Bramstedt to rezone approximately 20 acres located in the north east quadrant of the intersection of Goodview Avenue and County Road BA from SFE to SFLJ. Per Council direction, the City Attorney prepared Findings of Fact to Outline the reasons for denial. Leroux made motion, Miron seconded, to accept the Findings of Fact, as drafted by the City Attorney, outlininq the reasons for denial of the Harold and Nancy Bramstedt rezoning request. All aye. Motion Carried. WILD ANIMAL ORDINANCE The Council considered a draft ordinance, prepared by the City Attorney, on June 6, 1994. The ordinance cited regulations for control and maintenance of wild animals in the City of Hugo. The Council expressed concerns regarding the definitions used for wild animals in the draft ordinance, and the City Attorney prepared a revised ordinance for Council consideration. After hearing PLAblic concerns expressed from the floor, it was determined revisions would be necessary to limit the impact of the ordinance to only those animals which could be a public safety hazard to the community. 'The City Attorney is to review State and Federal policies and provide a recommendation to the Council. BALD EAGLE AREA ASSOCIATION REQUEST The BEAR seeks to control the debris left on Fuld Eagle Lake following the ice fishing season through regulating the construction and maintenance of ice houses on the lake. The Association requested that a Council member from the City of Hugo be appointed to work with a committee, made up of representatives from each municipality adjacent to the lake and the DNR, to develop these regulations. Leroux; made motion, Miron seconded, to appoint Councilman Brunotte as Hugo's representative. All aye. Motion Carried. 1994 CRACK SEAL PROGRAM Washington County has entered into a contract with the Bergman Companies, Inc., for crack filling of county roads. The contract price of $0.87 per pound of material may be extended to the City of Hugo. Included for Council consideration was a price estimate and separate report from the City Engineer regarding the crack filling of 165th Street.
