Council Minutes - July 18, 1994 <br />Page 4 <br />165TH STREET DRAINAGE DISCUSSION <br />The Mayor has requested that discussion of the drainage problems on 165th <br />Street and Highway 61 be placed on the agenda. Staff has been in contact <br />with MNDOT-regarding potential alleviation of drainage concerns raised by <br />residents and business owners in the area. Various options were discussed <br />to resolve the drainage problems in the area. Joel Dresel stated he would <br />research the problem and report to the Council on August 1, 1994 <br />Motion made by Miron, seconded by Leroux to table this issue until August <br />1, 1994, at which time the engineer will provide additional information. <br />All aye, motion passed. <br />1995 BUDGET PRIORITY WORKSHOP <br />In preparation for development of the City's 1995 budget, staff requests <br />that the Council schedule a workshop to discuss projects and budget <br />priorities for the upcoming year. <br />Motion made by Miron, seconded by Stoltzman to schedule a meeting date for <br />August 8th, 1994, 7:30PM to discuss the City's budget. <br />All aye, motion passed. <br />Administrator Museus has received documents from Washington County <br />regarding the recycling grant eligible to the City. In order to receive <br />the funds, the City must commit to having a solid waste recycling program <br />in place by December 31, 1994. <br />Motion made by Leroux, seconded by Barnes to enter into an agreement with <br />Washington County for recycling. <br />All aye, motion passed. <br />The City has received a premise permit application from the Stillwater <br />Dead Broke Saddle Club which operates out of Woodloch Stables, to continue <br />selling pull tabs at the Blacksmith.Lounge, 17205 Forest Blvd., Hugo. <br />Motion made by Miron, seconded by Stoltzman to approve the premise permit <br />application from the Saddle Stillwater Dead Broke Club to sell pull tabs <br />at the Blacksmith Lounge, 17205 Forest Blvd. <br />All aye, motion passed. <br />Attorney Galler stated he would review the recommendations of Ms. Barnes <br />for the proposed wild animal ordinance and provide the city with a revised <br />ordinance. <br />Motion made by Miron, seconded by Barnes to request staff to send a letter <br />to the resident maintaining wild animals on their property informing them <br />
