Motion Carried. <br />PRESENT: Barnes, Brunotte, Leroux, Miron, Stoltzman <br />City Administrator, Robert Museus <br />City Attorney, Greg Galler <br />City Clerk, Mary Ann Creager <br />This meeting is called for the purpose of allowing the City Council to <br />deliberate and determine what type of discipline, if any, is appropriate <br />against Cheryl Istvanovich. Cheryl Ist.vanovich is an employee t: -•'f the City <br />of Hugo, employed as a fire fighter. The City Administrator provided the <br />Council with a summary of the case at issue, as follows: <br />1. <br />Name of <br />subject of hearing. <br />2. <br />Employment <br />position of subject. <br />3. <br />Summary <br />of <br />allegations against subject. <br />4. <br />Name and job title of persons making the allegations. <br />5. <br />Summary <br />of <br />procedural steps that led to the present hearing. <br />b. <br />Summary <br />of <br />Notice given to subject of the hearing. <br />7. <br />Finding <br />of <br />City Counci 1 from the preliminary closed meeting. <br />Brunotte made motion, Miron seconded, to dismiss <br />employee of the Hugo Fire Department because of <br />files from the Hugo Fire Department's computer. <br />VOTING AYE:: Brunotte, Leroux, Miron <br />VOTING NAY: Barnes and Stolt man <br />Motion Carried. <br />Cheryl I stvanov i. ch as an <br />deliberate destruction of <br />Because of the previous motion of dismissal, no action was taken on the <br />other allegation of abusive language/insubordination, but the following <br />motion was made relative to that allegation: <br />Miron made motion, Leroux seconded, that based on the information <br />reviewed, discipline would be warranted against. Cheryl Istvanovich for <br />abusive language/insubordination, and a suspension from the Department, <br />for a period of 90 days, would be warranted. <br />VOTING AYE: Barnes, Brunotte, Leroux, Miron <br />VOTING NAY: Stol. t: zman <br />Motion Carried. <br />DRAFT LIQUOR LICENSE ORDINANCE <br />The Council considered a draft revision to the City's liquor license <br />ordinance. The City's current liquor ordinance is somewhat convoluted and <br />difficult to administer. The proposed ordinance would allow for more <br />consistent administration, and update the City's liquor license policies <br />to current law.
