Hugo Planning Commission May 239 1979 Page 3 of 4 LA14RENCE JASINSKI — REZONING Mr. Jasinski is requesting authorization to rezone property from AG to RRII. Mr. Jasinski was present and submitted a site plan of the property. Greystone Avenue appears to extend to 30' of the north border of the proposed 5 acre parcel. At this time, Mr. Jasinski is not asking for rezoning for the balance of the property. Motion made by Peloquin, seconded by McAllister, to set a public hearing for June 27, 1979, 7:30 PM, to consider the request of Lawrence Jasinski to rezone property from the AG district to the RRII district. All aye. Motion Carried. Secretary instructed to write a letter to the City Engineer inquiring as to where Greystone Avenue actually ends to the south. Motion made by McAllister, seconded by Peloquin, requesting Dan Koehler to comment on the rezoning request of Lawrence Jasinski. Mr. Jasinski to received a copy of the report. FISCHER CONSTRUCTION — PRIG PERMIT Howard Kuusisto inspected the site and stated that the blacktop on Irish Avenue needs patching. Other than that, he had no problem with the area. Fischer agreed to the request to have Irish Avenue patched. Motion made by McAllister, seconded by Gillen, to recommend approval of the Mining Permit for Fischer Construction until June 30, 19809 subject -to the attached conditions. Mr. Fischer is also requested to repair Irish Avenue subject to the satisfaction of the City Engineer. All aye. Tiotion Carried. RICHARD SCHUH — MINING PERMIT Mr. Schuh questioned whether he could have his letter of credit reduced ($25,000.00). McAllister suggested that at the City Council meeting of June 49 Howard Kuusisto should take a look at the possibility. Kuusisto inspected the Schuh gravel pit and stated that the area appeared to be satisfactory. However, the haul road to the east (152nd St) and south to point of beginning of bituminous paving from that pit area is in need of reshaping and grading. Motion made by McAllister, seconded by Hanson, to recommend approval of the Mining Permit for Richard Schuh until June 30, 1980. subject to the attached conditions. Mr. Schuh is requested to comply with the City Engineer's recommendation to add gravel to two haul routes. The Planning Commission would ask the City Council to review the letter of credit for Mr. Schuh for possible reduction. All aye. Motion Carried, LAVINA DURAINE — SPECIAL USE PERMIT Motion by McAllister, seconded by Peloquin, to recommend approval of the Special Use Permit for Lavina Duraine until June 30, 1980, subject to the attached conditions.
