Hugo Planning Commission <br />May 239 1979 <br />Page 3 of 4 <br />LA14RENCE JASINSKI — REZONING <br />Mr. Jasinski is requesting authorization to rezone property from AG to RRII. Mr. <br />Jasinski was present and submitted a site plan of the property. Greystone Avenue <br />appears to extend to 30' of the north border of the proposed 5 acre parcel. At this <br />time, Mr. Jasinski is not asking for rezoning for the balance of the property. <br />Motion made by Peloquin, seconded by McAllister, to set a public hearing for June 27, <br />1979, 7:30 PM, to consider the request of Lawrence Jasinski to rezone property from <br />the AG district to the RRII district. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Secretary instructed to write a letter to the City Engineer inquiring as to where <br />Greystone Avenue actually ends to the south. <br />Motion made by McAllister, seconded by Peloquin, requesting Dan Koehler to comment <br />on the rezoning request of Lawrence Jasinski. Mr. Jasinski to received a copy of the <br />report. <br />FISCHER CONSTRUCTION — PRIG PERMIT <br />Howard Kuusisto inspected the site and stated that the blacktop on Irish Avenue needs <br />patching. Other than that, he had no problem with the area. Fischer agreed to the <br />request to have Irish Avenue patched. <br />Motion made by McAllister, seconded by Gillen, to recommend approval of the Mining Permit <br />for Fischer Construction until June 30, 19809 subject -to the attached conditions. <br />Mr. Fischer is also requested to repair Irish Avenue subject to the satisfaction of <br />the City Engineer. <br />All aye. Tiotion Carried. <br />RICHARD SCHUH — MINING PERMIT <br />Mr. Schuh questioned whether he could have his letter of credit reduced ($25,000.00). <br />McAllister suggested that at the City Council meeting of June 49 Howard Kuusisto <br />should take a look at the possibility. Kuusisto inspected the Schuh gravel pit and <br />stated that the area appeared to be satisfactory. However, the haul road to the <br />east (152nd St) and south to point of beginning of bituminous paving from that pit <br />area is in need of reshaping and grading. <br />Motion made by McAllister, seconded by Hanson, to recommend approval of the Mining <br />Permit for Richard Schuh until June 30, 1980. subject to the attached conditions. <br />Mr. Schuh is requested to comply with the City Engineer's recommendation to add gravel <br />to two haul routes. The Planning Commission would ask the City Council to review the <br />letter of credit for Mr. Schuh for possible reduction. <br />All aye. Motion Carried, <br />LAVINA DURAINE — SPECIAL USE PERMIT <br />Motion by McAllister, seconded by Peloquin, to recommend approval of the Special Use <br />Permit for Lavina Duraine until June 30, 1980, subject to the attached conditions. <br />All aye.
