It was the concensus of the Commission that the request for 50 cars was not in <br />order. McAllister stated that he would like to table the request until blacktopping <br />is installed. There were already too many violations to the original permit. <br />Motion made by Peltier, seconded by Peloquin, to recommend approval of the request <br />for an Amended Special Use Permit made by Howard Moe. Amended permit to read as <br />follows: <br />1. That the access and egress to the business have a minimum of 30' width driveway, <br />hard surfaced. <br />2. That the area to be blacktopped as proposed in the submitted site plan. <br />3. An irrevocable letter of credit in the amount of $3,000.00 be provided to insure <br />blacktopping by October 19 1979• If work not completed by this date, letter of <br />credit to be renewed. <br />4. That minor body and paint work be allowed subject to all state and federal <br />regulations or codes for work on vehicles owned by the business only. <br />5. Refer 320-5-M-3: Refers to said regulations for inoperable cars. That the back <br />area of the property be maintained in a neat and order fashion. <br />6. The Special Use Permit is subject to annual review. <br />7. No more than thirty (30) cars be allowed on the property. There shall be no cars <br />stored on the eastern 50' of the property. <br />8. Trees for screening to be placed on the northern 2 of the east property line. <br />9. If Mr. Moe accepts the conditions of this permit, he allow the City Council to <br />count the number of cars inside and outside at any time. <br />VOTING FOR: Peloquin, Houle and Peltier <br />VOTING AGAINST: Hanson, Greger and McAllister <br />MOTION FAILED <br />Motion made by Greger, seconded by Peltier, to recommend approval of the Amended Special <br />Use Permit as requested by Howard Moe. Amended permit to read as follows: <br />1. That the access and egress to the business have a minimum of 301 width driveway, <br />hard surfaced. <br />2. That the area to be blacktopped as proposed in the submitted site plan. <br />3. That an irrevocable letter of credit, in an amount to be determined by the City <br />Engineer, be provided to insure blacktopping, per submitted plan, for all parking <br />spaces and the required screening, to be accomplished by June 1, 1980. <br />
