City Council nci 1 meeting of March 1, 1993 <br />Page <br />. Activities on this site shall be subject to reasonable regulation, <br />including future licensing, if deemed necessary by the City, through <br />ordinance. <br />3. Retail sales shall be limited to the hours between sunrise and sunset. <br />4. One (1) sign, constructed in accordance with the City's sign <br />ordinance, shall be permitted to identify the services being provided <br />to the public on-site. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />SITE FLAN _APF'ROVAL_.!L]�A I EBL ) <br />Don Baierl of 9.35 Duchess Street, St. Paul, MN., has requested site plan <br />approval to construct and operate a facility for the storage and <br />maintenance of classic and performance automobiles on his property located <br />along Highway 61, in the NE 1/4 of Section 17, 'T31N, R21.W, in the City of <br />Hugo. The site is zoned industrial. Staff has recommended approval <br />subject to special conditions. <br />Stolt man made motion, Miron seconded, to approve the site plan request of <br />Don Baierl, 935 Duchess Street, to construct and operate a facility for <br />the storage and maintenance of classic and performance automobiles on <br />property located in the NE 1/4 of Section 17, T31.N, R 1W. Approval is <br />subject to the following special conditions: <br />1. The owner shall obtain a septic system permit from the Washington <br />County Department of Health. <br />. The owner- shall obtain a driveway permit from MNl:iO . <br />_.. The owner shall provide verification from the RCWD of an approved site <br />drainage plan. <br />4. All unlicensed vehicles shall be stored inside of the building, or the <br />owner shall be required to apply for an auto dismantling/junk yard <br />license. <br />5. The owner shall obtain a Hazardous Waste Permit from the Washington <br />County Health Dept. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />JUNK. YARD ORDINANCE <br />Eased on the public hearing held by the City Council on February 161 1993 <br />and review by the City Attorney, revisions have been made to the City's. <br />proposed auto dismantling/junk yard ordinance. Staff recommends adoption <br />of the ordinance, as revised. Roger Dupaul , Mike Brandt, and ;james Brevig <br />addressed the Council asking that. the Council consider not adopting the <br />proposed ordinance. Mayor Stolt man stated that he, would abstain from <br />voting on this issue because of a possible conflict of interest. <br />Barnes made motion, Leroux seconded, to adopt_ ORDINAN(::E:. 1993-27V, AN <br />ORDINANCE REGULATING THE OPERATION OF AUTO DISMANTLING F=AC1LITIES AND JUNK. <br />YARDS IN THE CITY OF HUGO. <br />VOTING AYE: Barnes, Brunotte, Leroux, Miron <br />ABSTAINED: Stoltzman <br />Motion Carried. <br />
