City Council meeting of September 20, 1993 <br />Page L <br />Estates, Oak Shore Park„ and rural residents within the area. The siren <br />would be in compliance with the City's 1989 plan. <br />Stoltzman made motion, Barnes seconded, to advertise for bids to install a <br />public warning system on the new water tower located in the Bald Eagle <br />Industrial Park. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />LeroUX made motion, Miron seconded, directing City staff to research a <br />policy on obtaining funds from developers or Federal grants to fund an <br />Early Warning System and report to the City Council. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />ENGINEER'S REPORT (130TH STREET) <br />On August 2, 199.3, the City Council reviewed a report from the City <br />Engineer regarding the condition of 130th Street, from Goodview Avenue to <br />Highway 61. The engineer recommended that crack filler be applied to the <br />road this year. <br />Miron made motion, LeroUX seconded, authorizing City staff to proceed with <br />application of crack filler on 130th Street as funding or weather permits, <br />based on the engineer's recommendation. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />ENGINEER'S REPORT (STREET SIGNAGE) <br />During the last 18 months, residents have expressed concerns regarding <br />street signage at various points in the City. These concerns were <br />provided to the engineering firm doing the Hazardous Elimination Grant <br />Program, and some of the signs were taken care of as part of that <br />Program. Certain signs either were not eligible for the'Program or did <br />not meet the requirements established for that type of signage at that <br />location. The requests not approved as a part of the Program were <br />forwarded to the City Engineer, and the engineer has recommended that the <br />following signs be installed: <br />1. A Yield sign installed on Homestead Avenue at 157th Street. <br />2. A Stop sign on Exhall Avenue at 126th Street. <br />3. Speed signs on Europa Avenue between 125th Street and 126th Street. <br />4. No Parking along Sunset Lake between Washington County 7 and Homestead <br />Avenue. <br />5. Dead End sign on Foxhill Avenue at 147th Street. <br />Miron made motion, Brunotte seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 9.3-12, <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ESTABLISHMENT OF CERTAIN SIGNS IN THE CITY OF HUGO. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />
