In order to correct this deficiency, M::enco seeks to subdivide Lot 7 <br />in order to provide sufficient property for Lot 6 to obtain the 1(.)' side <br />yard setback. Lot 7 would still meet the minimum requirements of the <br />City's land -use regulations. The PC recommended approval of the <br />subdivision contingent upon Lot 6 complying with the City's 10" side yard <br />setback requirement. <br />Barnes made motion, Miron seconded, to approve the subdivision request of <br />K.enco Construction to subdivide a portion of Lot 7, Plock. 3, Birch Tree <br />Fonds 2nd Addition. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />1993 LIQUOR, CIGARETTE, AND GAME LICENSES (RESOLUTION) <br />Applications have been filed by certain businesses in the City of Huqo for <br />renewal of their liquor, cigarette, and game licenses for 199'. The <br />proposed resolution lists the businesses and the licenses requested. <br />Staff is requesting Council approval of the licenses contingent upon the <br />businesses filing proof of payment of taxes, compliance with City <br />ordinances, and adequacy of insurance. <br />Miron made motion, Leroux; seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 199'-=6, <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING LIQUOR AND RELATED LICENSES FOR. THE YEAR 1993. <br />VOTING AYE: Barnes, Brunotte, Leroux, Miron, Stolt man <br />Motion Carried. <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY SHER.IFF'S OFFICE (CAPT. MIME JOHNSON) <br />Captain Mike Johnson of the Washington County Sheriff's Department was <br />present to introduce himself to the Council, discuss law-enforcement use <br />of the shooting range owned by the Bald Eagle Sportsman Assn, and inquire <br />about the possibility of having a contract officer attend Council <br />meetings. Councilman Leroux; felt it was important to have more contact <br />with the deputies and information of patrol activities. The City <br />Administrator will work with the Sheriff's Department to help coordinate a <br />reporting procedure. <br />COMPLAINT REGARDING HORSES AT 13829 ISLETON AVENUE <br />On November 16, 1992, the Council received a complaint regarding horses <br />being kept at 13829 Isleton Avenue, and directed the City Adrrii.nistrator to <br />investigate and report his findings to the Council. Such a report was <br />submitted for Council consideration indicating that no City action was <br />required because the property is located in the agriculture district, <br />which does not regulate the number of horses allowed. These situations <br />will be addressed during comprehensive plan review. <br />Miron made motion, Leroux; seconded, directing staff to forward a copy of <br />the Administrator's report to the complainant. <br />All aye.
