Lot 7 would still meet the minimum requirements of the City's land -use regulations. The PC recommended approval of the subdivision contingent upon Lot 6 complying with the City's 10" side yard setback requirement. Barnes made motion, Miron seconded, to approve the subdivision request of K.enco Construction to subdivide a portion of Lot 7, Plock. 3, Birch Tree Fonds 2nd Addition. All aye. Motion Carried. 1993 LIQUOR, CIGARETTE, AND GAME LICENSES (RESOLUTION) Applications have been filed by certain businesses in the City of Huqo for renewal of their liquor, cigarette, and game licenses for 199'. The proposed resolution lists the businesses and the licenses requested. Staff is requesting Council approval of the licenses contingent upon the businesses filing proof of payment of taxes, compliance with City ordinances, and adequacy of insurance. Miron made motion, Leroux; seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 199'-=6, RESOLUTION APPROVING LIQUOR AND RELATED LICENSES FOR. THE YEAR 1993. VOTING AYE: Barnes, Brunotte, Leroux, Miron, Stolt man Motion Carried. WASHINGTON COUNTY SHER.IFF'S OFFICE (CAPT. MIME JOHNSON) Captain Mike Johnson of the Washington County Sheriff's Department was present to introduce himself to the Council, discuss law-enforcement use of the shooting range owned by the Bald Eagle Sportsman Assn, and inquire about the possibility of having a contract officer attend Council meetings. Councilman Leroux; felt it was important to have more contact with the deputies and information of patrol activities. The City Administrator will work with the Sheriff's Department to help coordinate a reporting procedure. COMPLAINT REGARDING HORSES AT 13829 ISLETON AVENUE On November 16, 1992, the Council received a complaint regarding horses being kept at 13829 Isleton Avenue, and directed the City Adrrii.nistrator to investigate and report his findings to the Council. Such a report was submitted for Council consideration indicating that no City action was required because the property is located in the agriculture district, which does not regulate the number of horses allowed. These situations will be addressed during comprehensive plan review. Miron made motion, Leroux; seconded, directing staff to forward a copy of the Administrator's report to the complainant. All aye. Motion Carried.
