.y <br />Hugo Planning Commission <br />October 13, 1976 <br />Page 3 of <br />Grace Devel opment <br />Spitzer stated that it was his opinion that what Mr. Schwab indi- <br />cates as the boundaries is consistent -with.. the guidelines under <br />which we have been operating. <br />Spitzer made motion, seconded by Ehret, that we recommend to the <br />U"ity Council the approval of rezoning from Conservancy to Agricul- <br />tural as presented on the new zoning map. <br />Voting for: Spitzer, Ehret, Peloquin, Peltier, and Greger. <br />Motion carried. <br />Vic Myer <br />Spitzer stated that Mr. Rosenquist was not in favor of rezoning <br />per minutes read from public hearing. <br />Peloquin made motion, seconded by Ehret, that the Planning Commission <br />recommend to the City Council that the Myer rezoning from Conser- <br />vancy to Agricultural be approved according':to'modifica.tion-on amended <br />zoning, S6hi iab will shade out -the . south boundary . on map; <br />Voting for: Spitzer, Ehret, Peloquin, Peltier, and Greger <br />Motion carried. <br />Aldine Anderson <br />Mr. Charles Johnson, City Attoryney, stated that the ordinance as <br />drafted for the city of Hugo could not grant a Variance. <br />It was the general feeling of Chairman Spitzer and Mr. Bill Schwab <br />that we would be setting a dangerous precedent if we spot rezone <br />as in the case of Mr. Anderson. <br />Peloquin made motion, seconded by Peltier, that the Planning Commission <br />recommend to the City Council approval of the rezoning of 8 acres <br />from Agricultural to RRI. <br />Voting for: Peloquin, Peltier, and Greger <br />Voting against: Spitzer and Ehret <br />Notion carried. <br />Richard Sagstetter <br />Mr. Sagstetter presented two Planned Unit Developments. It was <br />determined that Mr. Sagstetter would not require a rezoning at this <br />time, and should submit his Planned Unit Development to thePlanning <br />Commission at the time he is ready to take some definite action. <br />Mr. Sagstetter also submitted a GENERAL PLAN OF DEVELOPMENT copy <br />of which is to be sent to City Engineer, Howard Kuusisto. Secretary <br />instructed to cancel notice of public hearing previously sent for <br />publishing at Forest Lake Times. <br />
