Jensen stated they wish to build a double bungalow at <br /> 4504 170th Street. They appeared with the results of a perc test they <br /> took per the previous request of the Planning Commission. It was the <br /> opinion of the board that the perc test was OK but further recommended <br /> to them that they bore holes 8i feet deep to be sure there is no <br /> surface water there. They were told they could now apply for a spec- <br /> ial use permit from the city office and then appear before the Planning <br /> Commission again. <br /> ' Dan Muellner <br /> Mr. and Mrs. Dan Muellner appeared to apply for a special use permit <br /> to build a home on a flood plain. They were planning to build on a <br /> five acre site but were told by the Commission that in a Conservancy <br /> District the minimum lot size is 20 acres. They would also need de- <br /> liniation of the flood plain by the city engineer and then a perc test. <br /> They were also told that if they choose to move their building site <br /> to the east side of the mad, which is not in the flood plain, but <br /> rather is zoned agricultural, they could build on a ten acre site and <br /> would not need any approval from the Planning Commission. <br /> Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church <br /> A delegation from the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, which is <br /> now holding services in the Hugo Elementary School, appeared before <br /> the Commission to inquire about building a church on a fifteen acre <br /> site now owned by Mr. Pulbright.
