Senior Programming <br />Shayla Denaway, Parks Planner gave an update on the senior services and recent invitation for <br />the City of Hugo to serve on the Consortium Lakes Senior Services board. This board helps <br />address services working together and addressing current changes and needs for the seniors. <br />Current programming, services and events include: <br />1. The Hugo Senior Club offers weekly and monthly meetings from a fashion show, social <br />potluck parties, and cribbage/cards games. <br />2. White Bear Lake Senior Center offers social events, crafts, community arts/education <br />classes, and several services. <br />3. Consortium of Lakes Area Senior Services provides community awareness, <br />education, and social events. They are looking for a board representation. <br />IV. Update on Recreation Proarams <br />Shayla Denaway, Parks Planner updated on current/upcoming recreation programs <br />Park Play Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays 9am — 11 am, starting June 9 <br />Tech Tac Toe: July 6-9 <br />Skyhawks Sports Camps: August 3-6 <br />Nature Camp: August 10-14 <br />Tour de Hugo: September 12 <br />The Lions Park informational booth at Good Neighbor Days was steady with residents stopping <br />by to get details on the plans for Lions Park and ask other parks or recreation related questions. <br />V.
