b) Attend three meetings with the Parks and Trails Commission to obtain specific <br />input and feedback on the Parks, Trails and Open Space component of the <br />Comprehensive Plan. <br />c) Attend three regularly scheduled Planning Commission meetings to review the <br />project progress, obtain input and feedback from the City and present the draft <br />and final versions of the Comprehensive Plan Components. <br />d) Attend two regularly scheduled City Council meetings to review the project <br />progress, obtain input and feedback from the City and present the draft and final <br />versions of the Comprehensive Plan Components. <br />e) Lead four community open houses/workshops to engage the public in the <br />planning process and gain insight into the refinements needed to assure that <br />the Comprehensive Pian is consistent with community expectations and goals. <br />• The first meeting will be a community informational meeting and will be <br />used to identify the community values, perceptions and vision for the <br />future of Hugo and to determine the specific Comprehensive Plan <br />components that need more public input. Meeting emphasis will likely <br />focus on Eastern Hugo and Parks components, but will be an <br />opportunity to raise additional priorities. <br />• The second meeting is expected to be focused on refining the plans for <br />Eastern Hugo. <br />• The third meeting is expected to focus on Parks and Trails planning and <br />will guide development of that chapter. <br />• The final meeting will be an informational meeting prior to the formal <br />adoption of the 2040 Comprehensive Plan. <br />f) For the above-described meetings and open houses, Landform will: <br />• Landform will work with staff to develop meeting agendas and content. <br />• Attend the meetings and present our work in written and graphic format <br />and answer questions from the City and the public. <br />• Landform will prepare materials for the meeting and prepare meeting <br />summaries. <br />*City staff will maintain the project website and will be responsible for all public <br />notices, newsletter articles or other communications. <br />3. Plan Development and Adoption: <br />Based on information gathered in Tasks 1 and 2, Landform will: <br />a) Prepare text, table and graphic updates to the Land Use Chapter. Particular <br />attention will be given to the plan for Eastern Hugo. <br />b) Prepare text, table and graphic updates to the Parks and Trails Chapter. The <br />updated chapter will be well informed by other Comprehensive Plan chapters <br />Proposal to Rachel Juba with the City of Hugo 5 <br />2040 Comprehensive Plan Update August 29, 2016 REVISED October 14, 2016 <br />
