A small
portion of the south and southeastern edge of the Project is located in the Bald Eagle Lake
minor watershed. The remainder of the Project lies within the Clearwater Creek minor
watershed. The MN DNR Public Water Inventory (PWI) indicates one unnamed watercourse
adjacent to the southeastern border. An unnamed PWI (PW-W 82026000) is also mapped in
the northeast corner of the Project. NHD mapping indicates one unnamed watercourse through
the north -central section of the Project and another unnamed watercourse along the southeast
border of the Project. NWI mapping showed three wetland complexes within the Project
including a PSS1/EM1A/PEM1Cd/PEM1A wetland associated with the NHD flowline through
the center of the Project area, A PSS1A/PSS1/EM1Ad wetland complex in the southeast corner
of the Project, and a PEM1Af/PEM1Cd/PSS1/EM1Cd wetland complex in the east -central
portion of the Project. All mapped NWIs continue off site. There are no known trout
streams/lakes, wildlife lakes, migratory waterfowl feeding/resting lakes, or outstanding resource
value waters within the project area. A 1% Annual Chance Flood Hazard is mapped Zone A
within the north and central part of the Project according to FEMA's National Flood Hazard
Layer and is associated with an NHD flow line and NWI wetland. Judicial Ditch 3 is
approximately 0.5 miles west of the project area and has a lateral, which flows from PW-W
14
