Motion carried. <br /> <br />Approval of Claims <br /> <br />Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the Claims Roster as presented. <br /> <br />Approve Agreement with Northeast Youth and Family Services <br /> <br />Northeast Youth and Family Services (NYFS), located in White Bear Lake, had been providing <br />counseling services to youth and families in the City of Hugo for at least the past 20 years. The <br />City had paid NYFS $6,000 annually since the year 2009, and NYFS would continue providing <br />service at that amount. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the agreement with NYFS for <br />counseling services for 2018. <br /> <br />Approve Agreement with Lakes Center for Youth and Families, Inc. <br /> <br />The Lakes Center for Youth & Family Services, located in Forest Lake, had been providing <br />counseling services to youth and families in the City of Hugo for at least the past 20 years. The <br />City had paid the Lakes Center $6,000 annually since the year 2009, and the Lakes Center would <br />continue providing service at that amount. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the <br />agreement with Lakes Center for counseling services for 2018. <br /> <br />Approve Special Event Permit for Color Fun Run on May 12, 2018 <br /> <br />The Oneka Elementary School had requested a Special Event Permit for their annual 5K Color <br />Run on Saturday, May 12, 2018. The event required a Special Event Permit approved by Council <br />because it was expected to draw approximately 800 runners and would include the use of City <br />streets and sidewalks. This run would take place along Oneka Parkway between Oneka <br />Elementary and Frenchman Road. The event had been held for the past three years with no <br />impacts to the health, safety, and welfare of residents or participants. Adoption of the Consent <br />Agenda approved the Special Event Permit for the Color Fun Run subject to the conditions in the <br />staff memo. <br /> <br /> <br />
