This session will focus on the tariff issue and its impact on the local business <br />community. The program begins at 8:00 a.m. with registration at 7:30 a.m. Staff recommends <br />Council schedule this as a meeting if they choose to attend. <br />Weidt made motion, Haas seconded, to schedule a meeting to attend the White Bear Lake <br />Chamber Legislative Breakfast on Thursday, August 23, 2018. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Reschedule Midyear Budget Workshop <br />City Administrator Bryan Bear Council recommend Council reschedule the budget workshop on <br />Thursday, August 23, 2018, at 9 a.m. because it was the same morning as the White Bear Lake <br />Chamber Legislative Breakfast. <br />Miron made motion, Klein seconded, to reschedule the budget workshop to Thursday, September <br />6, 2018, at 3 p.m. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Reschedule September 3, 2018, Council Meeting to Tuesday, September 4, 2018, Due to <br />Labor Day Holiday <br />City Administrator Bryan Bear recommend Council reschedule its first meeting in September <br />due to the Labor Day Federal Holiday. <br />Miron made motion, Klein seconded, to reschedule the September 3, 2018 City Council meeting <br />to Tuesday, September 4, 2018. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />BBO Cookout for YRN Fundraiser on Saturday, September 29, 2018 <br />City Administrator Bryan Bear informed Council the Fry Group and eXp Realty were sponsoring <br />a BBQ fundraiser on Saturday, September 29, 2018, from noon — 2 p.m. at Lions Park. Free <br />BBQ ribs will be served until gone, and all donations will go to the Yellow Ribbon Network. <br />Haas made motion, Klein seconded, to schedule a meeting to attend the BBQ Cookout on <br />Saturday, September 29, 2018. <br />All Ayes.
