Corridor, such as the Plan discusses on pages 26, 103, 136, and 195. However, many of these references are out
of date. The Plan should use the latest information from the adopted Locally Preferred Alternative. The alignment
no longer includes the City of Hugo. The draft update to the 2040 Transportation Policy Plan includes this corridor
in the Current Revenue Scenario.
City Response: This reference was updated to be consistent with the current approved plan.
Advisory Comments: On page 195, the Plan correctly states that "no routes currently travel directly through the City of
Hugo." Existing transit service includes Transit Link dial -a -ride service and should be mentioned in this section of
the Transportation chapter.
City Response: The Transportation Chapter was updated.
Advisory Comments: The City may wish to clarify that it does not participate in the regional transit capital levy. If the
City wishes to explore the feasibility of regular route transit service in the City, participation would be a prerequisite.
City Response: Noted.
Comments Provided on Wastewater (RogerJanzig, 651-602-1119)
Summary of Comments for Completeness: The Plan is incomplete for wastewater. To be complete, the Plan will
need to address the following items:
Table that details adopted community forecasts
o 10 year increments to 2040.
■ Households
■ Employment
o This should be broken down by:
■ Interceptor
■ North of Lift Station L03
■ South of Lift Station L03
■ Community and Subsurface sewage treatment systems
City Response: As agreed upon with the Metropolitan Council, tables with forecast breakdowns by regional facilities for
2020 and 2040 have been provided as an appendix to the Sanitary Sewer chapter.
Summary of Comment for Completeness: An electronic map or maps (GIS shape files or equivalent)
showing the following information:
o Existing sanitary sewer system.
■ Lift stations.
■ Existing connections points to the metropolitan disposal system.
■ Future connection points for new growth if needed.
■ Local sewer service districts by connection point.
■ Intercommunity connections.
■ Proposed changes in government boundaries based on orderly annexation
agreements.
Corrin Wendell 11
March 4, 2019
