DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST: <br />The applicant is requesting approval of a conditional use permit (CUP) for a shared driveway <br />between two parcels. The applicant's property is currently landlocked and they are requesting <br />access to Keller Avenue North through a neighboring parcel to the south. Both property owners <br />have signed an easement and maintenance agreement. <br />2. CONTEXT: <br />A. Surrounding Land Use and Zoning <br />The properties are zoned Agricultural (AG) and are determined as Agricultural in the 2040 Land <br />Use Plan. Both properties are over 10 acres and are currently vacant. The surrounding properties <br />are also zoned AG and are large lots that are either vacant or occupied by single family homes. <br />B. Natural Characteristics of Site <br />The northern portion of the property has shore front along South School Section Lake with a mix <br />of varied vegetation and wetland. The other property has a portion of wetland on site. Both <br />parcels are rented out for farming and are used for agricultural purposes. <br />
