Hugo City Council Meeting Minutes for June 15, 2020 <br />Page 3 of 5 <br /> <br />Approve Pay Voucher No. 10 for Water Tower No. 4 Project <br /> <br />Staff had received Pay Voucher No. 10 from CB&I, LLC, for work completed to date on the <br />Water Tower No. 4 project. Staff found it acceptable for work certified through June 20, 2020. <br />Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved Pay Voucher No. 10 in the amount of $484,331.54 <br /> <br />Approve Resolution Approving Variance for Rear Yard Setback at 12160 Falcon Avenue <br /> <br />Richard and Cynthia Degnan, had applied for a variance from the rear yard setback requirement <br />for a proposed accessory building on their property at 12160 Falcon Avenue North. The request <br />was to allow the accessory building to be built 10 feet from the rear lot line where 30 feet was <br />required by ordinance. The property was approximately one acre and located within the Large <br />Lot Single Family Residential (R-1) zoning district. A public hearing was held at the Board of <br />Zoning Appeals and Adjustments meeting on May 28, 2020. There were no comments on the <br />request, and the Board agreed it met all the criteria necessary for approval. Adoption of the <br />Consent Agenda approved RESOLUTION 2020-27 APPROVING A VARIANCE FROM THE <br />SETBACK REQUIREMENTS FOR AN ACCESSORY BUILDING LOCATED AT 12160 <br />FALCON AVENUE NORTH. <br /> <br />Approve Reduction in Letter of Credit for Oneka Place 3rd Addition <br /> <br />Oneka Place 3rd Addition had substantial work completed and the developer had requested a <br />reduction in the letter of credit. The letter of credit was in the amount of $557,141. Staff had <br />inspected the work completed to date and recommended reducing the letter of credit to 10% of <br />the original letter of credit of $2,131,352. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the <br />reduction in the letter of credit for Oneka Place 3rd Addition to $213,135. <br /> <br />Approve Reduction in Letter of Credit for Adelaide Landing 3rd and 4th Addition <br /> <br />Adelaide Landing 3rd and 4th Additions had substantial work completed, and the developer had <br />requested a reduction in the letter of credit for both the 3rd and 4th Additions. The letter of credit <br />for the 3rd Addition was in the amount of $225,150. Staff had inspected the work completed to <br />date and recommended Council approve the reduction in the letter of credit to 10% of the <br />original letter of credit of $842,744. The letter of credit for the 4th Addition was in the amount of <br />$334,767. Staff had inspected the work completed to date and recommended Council approve <br />the reduction in the letter of credit to 10% of the original letter of credit of $463,267. Adoption <br />of the Consent Agenda approved the reduction in the letter of credit for Adelaide Landing 3rd <br />Addition to $84,274 and to $46,326 for the 4th Addition. <br /> <br />Approve Access License Agreement with Rice Creek Watershed District <br /> <br />The Hugo City Council had attended an informational meeting on October 8, 2019, about a <br />repair project of Judicial Ditch 3 by Rice Creek Watershed District. Rice Creek Watershed <br />District had requested temporary use of the main entrance to Clearwater Creek Preserve Park for <br />access to the ditch for the purposes of the repair project. Adoption of the Consent Agenda <br />approved the Access License Agreement with Rice Creek Watershed District. <br /> <br />
