• Surety - for surety amounts of $5000 or less, the applicant must submit a check <br />made out to the RCWD. For surety amounts over $5000, the applicant must <br />provide the first $5000 in the form of a check and has the option of providing the <br />remainder of the surety amount in the form of a check, Letter of Credit (see <br />website for template) or performance bond. <br /> <br />• Easements – if an easement is required per your list of pending items in the <br />attached Engineer’s Report, then the legal descriptions of these easements must <br />be prepared by the applicant, reviewed and approved by the District, and then <br />submitted to the County Recorder’s Office for recording. An easement template <br />is on the District’s website. <br /> <br />• Wetland Conservation Act Forms - For projects involving wetland impacts and <br />replacement, State law requires the preparation and recording of Wetland Legal <br />Forms for replacement wetlands. Instructions for completing and recording these <br />forms are included in the wetland legal forms document on the website. The <br />wetland legal documents require the applicant to prepare legal descriptions of all <br />replacement wetlands. These legal descriptions and the forms must be reviewed <br />and approved by the District prior to submittal to the County Recorder’s Office for <br />recording. <br /> <br />• Stormwater Operation & Maintenance - For projects involving stormwater <br />ponds and infiltration features, applicants must complete and record a <br />Stormwater Operation and Maintenance Agreement (see website for template) <br />for these features unless a City assumes the maintenance responsibilities of <br />these features as indicated in a letter to the District. An exhibit and/or legal <br />description that clearly delineates and identifies all stormwater and infiltration <br />features must accompany the stormwater operation and maintenance <br />agreement.
