<br />C:\Users\michele.lindau\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INetCache\Content.Outlook\PD3H9O9W\RSLTN- No Parking 032421 (002).doc <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION RESTRICTING PARKING ALONG 147TH STREET <br />FROM FOREST BOULEVARD (TH 61) TO ONEKA PARKWAY <br />FOR THE 2021 DOWNTOWN IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />S.A.P. 224-104-006 <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of Hugo has planned improvements along 147th Street from Forest <br />Boulevard (TH 61) to Oneka Parkway as part of the 2021 Downtown Street Improvement <br />Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Hugo has ordered the project for the 2021 Downtown Street <br />Improvement Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Hugo will be expending Municipal State Aid funds provided by the <br />Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) on improvements along 147th Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the improvements along 147th Street from Forest Boulevard (TH 61) to Oneka <br />Parkway does not provide adequate width for parking on the street; and approval of the proposed <br />construction as a Municipal State Aid Street project must therefore be conditioned upon certain <br />parking restrictions. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Hugo, Minnesota, <br />as follows: <br /> <br />1. The City of Hugo shall prohibit the parking of motor vehicles along 147th Street from <br />Forest Boulevard (TH 61) to Oneka Parkway. <br /> <br />This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the City of Hugo on the 5th day of April, <br />2021, by a vote of Ayes and Nays. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Tom Weidt, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Michele Lindau, City Clerk <br /> <br /> (seal)
