Hugo City Council Meeting Minutes for April 5, 2021 <br />Page 6 of 12 <br /> <br />Approve Pay Voucher No. 6 from Ebert Construction for New Public Works Facility <br /> <br />Ebert Construction had submitted Pay Voucher No. 6 for payment for the City of Hugo Public <br />Works Facility project in the amount of $23,191.51. The quantities completed to date had been <br />reviewed and agreed upon by the architect, contractor, and City staff. The amount indicated <br />above reflected the work certified through March, 2021, with a 5% retainage applied. Total <br />retainage being held for the project to date was $58,041.95. Adoption of the Consent Agenda <br />approved Pay Voucher No.6 in the amount of $23,191.51 to Ebert Construction. <br /> <br />Approve Pay Voucher No. 14 from CB&I, LLC, for Water Tower No. 4 <br /> <br />CB&I had submitted Pay Voucher No. 14 for work certified through December 2, 2020, on the <br />Water Tower No. 4 project. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved payment in the amount <br />of $107,131.07 to CB&I, LLC, for the Water Tower No. 4 Improvement Project. <br /> <br />Approve Colin Emans as New Assistant Chief on the Hugo Fire Department <br /> <br />Two firefighters had been interviewed for the vacant position of Assistant Chief, and Colin <br />Emans was selected to fill this position. Staff had recommended Council approve Colin Emans <br />as Assistant Chief on the Hugo Fire Department. Mayor Weidt removed this from the Consent <br />Agenda and invited Fire Chief Jim Compton to give a little background on the appointment of <br />Emans as Assistant Chief. <br /> <br />Weidt made motion, Haas seconded, to approve the appointment of Colin Emans as Assistant <br />Chief on the Hugo Fire Department. <br /> <br />Roll call vote – all ayes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Approve Resignation of Firefighter Amy Kriegshauser from the Hugo Fire Department <br /> <br />Hugo Firefighter Amy Kriegshauser had submitted her letter of resignation from the Fire <br />Department. Chief Jim Compton, Jr. recommended Council accept the letter and confirm <br />termination of her employment with the Hugo Fire Department effective immediately. Mayor <br />Weidt removed this from the Consent Agenda to thank her for her efforts and volunteerism to the <br />City. <br /> <br />Weidt made motion, Klein seconded, to approve the resignation of Firefighter Amy Kriegshauser <br />from the Hugo Fire Department. <br /> <br />Roll call vote – all ayes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Approve Site Plan, CUP, Property Line Adjustment, and Development Agreement for New <br />White Bear Lake Elementary School <br /> <br />Community Development Director Rachel Juba provided information on the request from the <br />White Bear Lake School District for approval of a site plan, Conditional Use Permit, property
