In pre-event communications, all participants will be <br />encouraged to turn in donations online or mail in prior to <br />the event. On-site, participants will be encouraged to use <br />mobile check capture to deposit checks. <br />i. Identify a specific area within the overall Customer <br />Service tent footprint to turn in donations with <br />designated staff/volunteers only. <br />ii. At this area, donation envelopes, pens, and tape <br />for sealing will be placed out for easy access. <br />iii. Individuals turning in donations must complete the <br />donation envelope by writing clearly and legibly <br />and including all required information. <br />iv. Completed and sealed envelopes must then be <br />placed in plain sight by the individual into a <br />secured lockbox. Staff/volunteers will not handle <br />money or envelopes. <br /> <br />3. Supplies: <br />a. Registration list to look up riders that forgot to bring their <br />packet/bib etc, or forgot to pick up at previous packet pick <br />ups. <br />b. Collection bin for all envelopes (see example/suggestion <br />below) <br />c. Extra of all supplies that come in each packet (twist ties, <br />safety pins, additional packets to assign new bib as <br />needed) <br />d. Donation envelopes for riders to put any DOE money that <br />they are dropping off <br />e. Pens/Markers – wiped off between use
