After the cyclist completes the ride, they will go back to the same
area as before to claim their t-shirt, jersey and other materials.
7. Once redeemed, the volunteer will instruct the cyclist to cut off
their wristband.
ii. Layout
1. The Mandatory Check-in Tent must be positioned as the first
visible area between the parking lot and the any other area of the
venue.
a. Larger rides with multiple access points will require
multiple tents and lanes.
2. Tent should be convertible to the T-shirt and Jersey distribution
area when participants return from completing the ride. Since this
area will transition, it will also be the last area between the venue
and the parking lot when participants are returning to their
vehicles.
3. Set up should be similar to a walk-through security line at concert
or sporting venue.
a. Example:
i. 20x20 tent with 2 lanes created by tables.
1. Tables in a straight line down the middle of
the tent and tables on the exterior to create
the lanes.
2. Staff and volunteers positioned at the
exterior tables with participants entering
and flowing through the created lanes to
complete confirmation of their health
screening.
3. Larger rides will require multiple tents and
lanes.
b. See diagram below and refer to Venue Setup and Flow for
general setup requirements.
