For all other state and local mandates where temperature checks are required, <br />protocols will include use of a contactless thermometer and PPE to protect staff, <br />volunteers, and minimize spread of disease. <br />i. Based on the CDC definition of a fever and the symptoms of COVID -19, a <br />participant, staff member or volunteer with a temperature of 100.4 <br />degrees F or above will not be permitted to participate in or work the <br />event. <br />b. The process and layout will be similar to the health screening process where <br />volunteers wearing PPE with contactless thermometers will conduct <br />temperature screenings in lieu of the health screening confirmation. <br /> <br />START LINE <br />1. Process – Day of event <br />a. In 2021 there will NOT be a mass start; we will create flow to mitigate <br />congregation at the start line. <br />i. Participants will receive a pre-selected/pre-assigned Venue Access <br />Window of time obtained through outreach from the Relationship <br />Management Team. The number of windows and duration of each <br />window will be determined by the Event Production Team on an event- <br />by-event basis and will based on State and Local gathering restrictions,
