Page 20 of 26 <br />Updated: 4/15/2021 <br /> <br />T-SHIRT AND JERSEY DISTRIBUTION <br />Distribution can continue to be offered. Includes IRWMS Jerseys. <br />1. Process <br />a. Both should be distributed directly by a volunteer/staff member upon <br />examination of their wristband. After the cyclist completes the ride, they will <br />return to this area to claim their t-shirt, jersey and any other materials. Once <br />redeemed, the wristband will be cut off by the participant. <br />b. Distribution methods where participant t-shirts/jerseys are laid out for <br />participants to select their own must be discontinued due to potential for cross- <br />contamination. T-shirt exchange for sizes must also be discontinued on-site. <br />i. If a participant requests a particular t-shirt size and it is provided, they <br />should not return it due to the potential for cross-contamination. <br />2. Layout <br />a. Should be the same tent as the Mandatory Check-in Tent. <br />b. Refer to Venue Setup and Flow for general setup requirements. <br /> <br />ON-SITE SPONSOR ACTIVATION <br />1. General <br />a. On-site sponsor activation may be held as DISPLAY ONLY on an event-by-event <br />basis if in accordance with state and local public health guidelines with respect <br />to physical distancing, cleaning, and signage. <br />2. Layout <br />a. Display areas must be altered to promote physical distancing among participants <br />to mitigate person-to-person contact. <br />i. All sponsor activations must be reviewed vs. state and local public health <br />guidelines to ensure compliance prior to granting on-site activation <br />approval. <br />b. Refer to Venue Setup and Flow for general setup requirements. <br />i. Sponsors must follow our requirements with regards to setup, flow, and <br />sanitization. <br />ii. Sponsors must wear facial coverings and gloves. <br /> <br />BIKE COMPOUND/ BIKE CORRAL/ BIKE RACKS <br />1. Space bikes a minimum of 3-4 feet between bikes per rack. <br />a. Allow for more racks and less bikes/people per rack. <br />b. Spread bike racks apart from one another rather than right next to each other . <br />2. Participants must handle their own gear. <br />3. Staff/volunteers must be in bike storage area to direct participants and ensure physical <br />distancing between individuals when placing bikes on the racks (i.e. alternating rows, <br />greater separation between bikes on racks). <br />4. Flow to and from this area must be one-directional – one entrance and one exit with <br />ample space to ensure physical distancing. <br />5. Crossbars on racks must be thoroughly and frequently cleaned.
