Lions Park Design Development <br />The Parks Commission discussed a work plan for Lions Park at their February 19, 2020 meeting. The first step <br />was a feasibility study which included a master plan updates, phasing plan, and updated cost estimates. The <br />Parks Commission reviewed three versions of the preliminary master plan that included updates related to <br />the surrounding developments and roadways at their meeting of June 17, 2020. A joint workshop was held <br />with the City Council and Parks Commission on June 29, 2020. At the meeting of July 15, 2020 the final <br />master plan was approved. The City Council adopted the Master Plan and approved the Feasibility Study at <br />their July 20, 2020 meeting. <br />Next steps for planning of Lions Park include design development for the playground and shelter. Staff <br />recommends approval of the proposal from WSB for this work and recommends a community meeting be <br />held to involve residents. <br />THE FINAL MASTER PLAN FOR LIONS PARK IS ATTACHED.
