The Planning <br />Commission unanimously recommended approval of the lot spilt to the City Council, subject to <br />the conditions listed in the resolution. <br /> <br />G.11 Approve Resolutions Approving Preliminary Plat and PUD General Plan for the <br />Shores of Oneka Lake <br /> <br />M/I Homes is requesting approval of a Preliminary Plat and Planned Unit Development (PUD) for a <br />residential development. The property totals 131.66 acres and is comprised of three parcels. The <br />preliminary plat includes 218 residential lots, and 10 outlots to be known as “The Shores of Oneka <br />Lake”. The housing types are proposed to be a combination of single family homes, villa homes, <br />and twinhomes. At its May 26, 2022, meeting the Planning Commission held a public hearing and <br />considered the request. Staff recommended approval of the preliminary plat and PUD. There was <br />one person that spoke during the public hearing. They had questions about tree removal and <br />construction access for the development. The Planning Commission agreed that the request met the <br />requirements necessary to approve the preliminary plat and PUD. The Planning Commission <br />unanimously recommended approval of the preliminary plat and PUD, subject to the conditions in <br />the resolutions. <br /> <br />G.12 Approve Fireworks Display for Hugo Good Neighbor Days on Saturday, June 11, <br />2022 <br /> <br />The Hugo Lions Club is requesting approval to hold a fireworks display on Saturday, June 11, <br />2022, during Good Neighbor Days. Fireworks will be put on by PC Pyrotechnics, LLC. The <br />fireworks will be lit at the east end of the Hanifl Park. The Lions have been working with the <br />Hugo Fire Department and Pyrotechnics, LLC has provided insurance. Staff recommends <br />Council approve the Fireworks Display for Good Neighbor Days on Saturday, June 11, 2022. <br /> <br />G.13 Approve Wetland Replacement Plan for Oneka Elementary School Expansion <br /> <br />The White Bear Lake School District has applied for approval of a wetland replacement plan to <br />construct an addition to Oneka Elementary School. The construction of the addition will result in <br />.025 acres of wetland impact. The applicant is proposing to replace the impacts to the wetland <br />basin though the purchase of wetland credits from an approved wetland bank. Staff recommends <br />approval of the wetland replacement plan, subject to final Technical Evaluation Panel issuance of <br />the Notice of Decision for the wetland replacement application. <br /> <br />G.14 Approve Wetland Replacement Plan for a Driveway for a Property on 170th Street <br /> <br />Jim Reese and Cari Pratley have applied for approval of a wetland replacement plan to construct <br />a driveway to access the buildable portion of their property. The property is located south of <br />170th Street and East of Henna Avenue. Construction of the driveway will result in .35 acres of <br />wetland impact. The applicants are proposing to replace the impacts to the wetland basin though <br />the purchase of wetland credits from an approved wetland bank. Staff recommends approval of <br />the wetland replacement plan, subject to final Technical Evaluation Panel issuance of the Notice <br />of Decision for the wetland replacement application. <br /> <br />
