Introduction <br />2.1 Authorization <br />On July 10, 2023, the Hugo City Council authorized the preparation of a feasibility report for the <br />2024 125th Street and Dellwood Ridge Neighborhood Street Improvement Project. <br /> <br />2.2 Scope <br />This feasibility report includes street improvements and limited drainage improvements along the <br />following existing roads: <br /> <br /> 125th Street North <br /> Heather Avenue North <br /> Upper Heather Avenue North <br /> <br />These improvements will incorporate roadway reclamation and overlay, complete roadway reconstruction, <br />and storm sewer improvements within the roadway reconstruction area. <br /> <br />2.3 Data Available <br />Information and materials used in the preparation of this report include the following: <br /> City of Hugo 5-Year Capital Improvement Plan, approved in 2020 <br /> City of Hugo Assessment Policy Manual <br /> City of Hugo Property Index Records <br /> City of Hugo Record Drawings <br /> Topographic Survey <br /> Field Observations of the Project Area <br /> <br />2.4 Project History <br />The 2024 125th Street and Dellwood Ridge Neighborhood Street Improvement Project is identified in the <br />City’s Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) to address the deteriorating condition of the roadway. The CIP <br />provides a schedule for the various roadway improvements that are necessary to maintain the City streets <br />in an effective and efficient manner. <br />
