Feasibility Report <br />2025 Beaver Ponds Area Street Improvement Project <br />City of Hugo <br />WSB Project No. 026749-000 Page 5 <br />4.5 Construction Access/Staging <br />The contractor will be responsible for providing access to all existing properties <br />throughout the project. <br />The proposed methods of construction are the responsibility of the contractor. <br />Adequately signed detours will be identified to direct traffic around the construction <br />zone and notify users of the increased truck and construction activity. Detours will <br />be used only if absolutely necessary to ensure the safety of residents and <br />construction workers alike. <br />4.6 Public Involvement <br />A public meeting was held on Tuesday, October 23, 2024, to provide initial project <br />information to property owners and residents within the project area. Residents were <br />encouraged to share their knowledge of the project area, specifically any known <br />areas of concern. <br />As part of the Chapter 429 process, once the feasibility study is accepted, a public <br />hearing will be scheduled. Impacted residents will be invited to hear more details <br />about the project and provide public testimony regarding the proposed project. <br />Prior to construction, an additional public informational meeting will be held to <br />further inform the property owners of the proposed improvements, project timeline, <br />assessment policy, and what to expect during construction.
