City Council meeting of Play 6, 1991 <br />Page <br />The Council agreed that this matter should be tabled to allow the City <br />Council to do some follow up, and asE:ing Mr. F-::ostuch to reconsider his <br />resignation. <br />McAllister made motion, Miron seconded, to table this matter until the <br />City Council meeting of May 20, 1991. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />SALARY ADJUSTMENT RECOMMENDATION <br />The salary range for administrative intern for the City of Hugo (a <br />seasonal position) has not been adjusted since it was established in 1987. <br />The current salary for the administrative intern is $6.00/hr. It is <br />recommended that this hourly rate be adjusted to $6.95/hr. effective May <br />6, 1991. Currently, Mr. Scott Holm is employed as an administrative <br />intern (building inspector) for the 1991 construction season. Mr. Holm <br />has received certification as a Class 1 building inspector, and has <br />completed all the schooling for certification as a plumbing inspector. <br />Councilman Miron felt that $6.00/hr. was an adequate salary for the <br />intern. <br />McAllister made motion, Jesinsk-i seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 1991-5, A <br />RESOLUTION ADJUSTING THE SALARY FOR MR. SCOTT HOLM TO $6.95 PER HOUR, <br />EFFECTIVE MAY 6, 1991. <br />VOTING AYE: Brunotte, Jesinski, McAllister, Stoltzman <br />VOTING NAY: Miron <br />Motion Carried. <br />1991-9 ROAD/BRIDGE MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT <br />The City Council received a copy of the County's proposed 1991-92 Road and <br />Bridge Maintenance Agreement. The Agreement itself is substantially the <br />same as in previous years. The changes in hourly rates for equipment and <br />labor is noted on the last page of this Agreement. The comparison of 1990 <br />to 1991 rates was prepared by the City Finance Director. Councilman Miron <br />questioned the feasibility of the City doing its own road grading. <br />McAllister made motion, Miron seconded, ac.tthorizinq the Mayor and City <br />Clerk. sign the 1991-92 Road/Bridge Maintenance Agreement between the City <br />of Hugo and Washington County. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />CECEL_ I A NADEAU LETTER <br />The City Council received a copy of a letter from Cecelia Nadeau <br />requesting that she be given an opportunity to appear before the Cit..,, <br />Council on May 6, 1991. Ms. Nadeau appeared before the COUncil and <br />provided information indicatinq that there existing legislation <br />authorizing financial contributions from vi}.lases to Support school patrc.;l <br />training. She explained the history of HUgo's involvement in this <br />
