The ordinance requires that <br />accessory structures not be located between the principal residence and <br />the road. The property in question is zoned agricultural, and consists of <br />approximately 10 acres. The request calls for the pole barn to be located <br />600' from Henna Avenue, and meets all side and rear yard setbacks. This <br />request is consistent with Council policy regarding variances where <br />accessory structures are located a minimum of 100' from the road. <br />Approval of this request should be subject to the structure in question <br />not being used for any commercial or industrial purpose. <br />Miron made motion, Brunotte seconded, to approve the variance request of <br />Blayne Hoot, 12899 Henna Avenue, to construct a 30' x 40' pole barn between <br />the principal residence and Henna Avenue. The proposed building is not to <br />be used for commercial or industrial purposes. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />AWARD OF QUOTE FOR SNOWS PLOWING <br />The City has requested quotations from two local contractors for the <br />plowing of the City Hall parking lot and related facilities. One <br />contractor indicated he was not interested in the wort::, and the other <br />submitted the a quote. Mr. Bernier has served as our snow plowing <br />contractor for the last two years, and the quote submitted is competitive. <br />Mr. Bernier's work: has been more than satisfactory over the last two <br />years. <br />Stolt man made motion, Brunotte seconded, to award the City's snow plowinc <br />contract to plow the City Hall parting lot and related facilities to Mr. <br />Tom Bernier, at a cost of $40.00/hr. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />RESOLUTION SETTING 1992 SALARIES <br />Annually, the City Council has reviewed the salary recommendation for Cite; <br />employees at this time of the year. The proposed salary recommendations <br />for regular employees reflects a 4.3% adjustment based on performance and <br />merit. No adjustment has been made in the salary for City Administrator, <br />and the Finance Director's salary was adjusted, as per his Employment <br />Agreement.
