City Council meeting of October 21, 1991 Page 4 the principal residence and Henna Avenue. The ordinance requires that accessory structures not be located between the principal residence and the road. The property in question is zoned agricultural, and consists of approximately 10 acres. The request calls for the pole barn to be located 600' from Henna Avenue, and meets all side and rear yard setbacks. This request is consistent with Council policy regarding variances where accessory structures are located a minimum of 100' from the road. Approval of this request should be subject to the structure in question not being used for any commercial or industrial purpose. Miron made motion, Brunotte seconded, to approve the variance request of Blayne Hoot, 12899 Henna Avenue, to construct a 30' x 40' pole barn between the principal residence and Henna Avenue. The proposed building is not to be used for commercial or industrial purposes. All aye. Motion Carried. AWARD OF QUOTE FOR SNOWS PLOWING The City has requested quotations from two local contractors for the plowing of the City Hall parking lot and related facilities. One contractor indicated he was not interested in the wort::, and the other submitted the a quote. Mr. Bernier has served as our snow plowing contractor for the last two years, and the quote submitted is competitive. Mr. Bernier's work: has been more than satisfactory over the last two years. Stolt man made motion, Brunotte seconded, to award the City's snow plowinc contract to plow the City Hall parting lot and related facilities to Mr. Tom Bernier, at a cost of $40.00/hr. All aye. Motion Carried. RESOLUTION SETTING 1992 SALARIES Annually, the City Council has reviewed the salary recommendation for Cite; employees at this time of the year. The proposed salary recommendations for regular employees reflects a 4.3% adjustment based on performance and merit. No adjustment has been made in the salary for City Administrator, and the Finance Director's salary was adjusted, as per his Employment Agreement. This resolution goes to the City Council with the City Administrator's recommendation for approval.
