No additional article allowing law enforcement agencies to utilize the <br />BESA facility. <br />Robert Anderson, Ed Fashingbauer, and Carl Schuneman addressed the <br />Council, and indicated their objection to any changes in the existing <br />permit. Mr. Dennis Screifels, BESA president, explained why he thought <br />the amendments requested were justified. <br />McAllister made motion, Olson seconded, to approve the Special Use Permit <br />for the Bald Eagle Sportsman Association, including the amendments as <br />recommended by the Planning Commission at their July 255 19903 regular <br />meeting, with the addition that Item 15 of the SUP be amended by adding_ <br />the following: The membership and range officer requirements shall be <br />waived for the Washington County Sheriff's Office Tactical Unit allowing <br />them use of the facility up to a maximum of 6 times per year while under <br />approved supervision, and subject to Condition #e of this SUP. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />SITE PLAN APPROVAL_ (INTERSTATE LUMBER ) <br />On behalf of Interstate Lumber Company, Mr. Dennis Cunningham has made <br />application to the City of Hugo for a site plan approval to authorize the <br />construction of a 40' x 60' post -frame building on their property at 5517 <br />145th Street, Hugo, MN (aka part of Lot 26 of County Auditor's Plat #7, <br />Section 20, T31N, R21W, Washington County, MN). The building is going to <br />be used as a shop and for the storage of related equipment. The property <br />in question is owned by the Burlington Northern Railroad, and is zoned CB. <br />According to the applicants, this request is consistent with their lease <br />agreement with the BN Railroad. The building in question will be located <br />400' south of County State Aid Highway #3, and approximately 50' west of <br />the BN railroad tracts. The most recent site plan changes in the <br />Interstate Lumber Company operation were in 1936 when a warehouse was <br />constructed, and again in 19ee when a. loading dock: was approved for <br />construction. <br />Vail made motion, Jesinsk:i seconded, to approve the site plan request of <br />Interstate Lumbar for the construction of a 40' x 60' post -frame building <br />on their property at 5517 145th Street Oki part of Lot 26 of Count;: <br />Auditor's Plat #7, Section 20, T31N, R21W, Washington County, MN).
