Motion Carried. <br />1990-91 TAX LEVY RESOLUTION <br />The City Council received a copy of a proposed resolution adopting the tax <br />levy for the 1990-91 fiscal year. This resolution must be adopted and <br />recorded with Washington County prior to the next regular- City Council <br />meeting in September. The overall tax levy of $829,870.00 is up 6.9.7 <br />over the 1989-90 levy of $776,030.00. Of the total levy, approximately{ <br />$1.15,770.00 is earmarked for debt service. <br />Atkinson made motion, Olson seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 1??0-24, <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING 1990 TAX LEVY COLLECTIELLE IPJ 1991. <br />VOTING AYE: Olson, Jesinski, Vail, McAllister, Atkinson <br />VOTING NAY: None <br />Motion Carried. <br />VARIANCE _( OVER—E I.7 E D GARAGE) <br />Michael and Debrah Dailey have made application to the City of Hugo for a <br />variance to construct an over -sized gagage on their property located at <br />9400 170th Street, Hugo, MN (aka the E 900' of the SW 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of <br />Section 1, T31N, R21W, except the E 660' thereof) . The property in <br />question is zoned agriculture, and consists of approximately 10 acres. <br />The 24' „ ?4' attached garage' (616' square feet) is to be used for <br />personal use only. No commercial activity is to be permitted on site. <br />The request in question is consistent with the Council's policy regarding <br />over -sized garages in this zoning district. <br />McAllister made motion, Vail seconded, to approve the variance request of <br />Michael and Debrah Dailey for the construction of a 24' x 34' attached <br />garage on their property located at 98=0 170th Street. The proposed <br />garage is to be used for residential purpose.=_. only. <br />All aye.
