City Council meeting of December 17, 1996 <br />Page <br />was a break down of resources available to finance this land purchase and <br />settlement of the lawsuit. Break down of revenues are to be derived as <br />follows: <br />1.. Balance in bond fund - $211, 603.39. <br />2. Balance in the part.. land dedication fund - $9,231. <br />3. Excess of 1990 general fund revenues over expenses - $60,000. <br />4. General fund reserves - $10,165.61. <br />This brings the total revenues for purchase of this property to $29o,000. <br />Hearing no objection from the Council -elect, or from others in the <br />audience, Mayor Atkinson made the following motion: <br />Atkinson made motion, McAllister seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 1990-439 <br />RESOLUTION SETTLEMENT OF WHITE BEAR ROD AND GUN CLUB LAW SUIT AND <br />DISBURSEMENT OF FUNDS FOR PURCHASE OF PAR[,-"' LAND. <br />VOTING AYE: Jesinsti, McAllister, Olson, Vail, Atkinson <br />VOTING NAY: None <br />Motion Carried. <br />Councilman McAllister suggested that the residents of Hugo be notified <br />somehow of the action just taken by the City Council. <br />ORDINANCE VIOLATIONS COMMITTEE <br />The Ordinance Violations Committee received a report regarding the Bald <br />Eagle Sportsman Association permit renewal. The BESA has since signed the <br />amended SUP and returned them to City Hall. No action was taken. <br />TELEVISE COUNCIL MEETINGS (FEASIBILITY REPORT) <br />The City Council received a feasibility report, prepared by the City <br />staff, regarding the possibility of televising City Council meetings in <br />the near future. <br />McAllister made motion, Atkinson seconded, that the City staff be directed <br />to proceed forthwith to have a cable TV system installed at City Hall. <br />The City Council prefers that two cameras be installed, if possible. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />FARNHAM AVENUE ROAD EXTENSION REPORT <br />In the fall of 1989, representatives of Milson Tool appeared before the <br />City Council and requested authorization to extend Farnham Avenue from <br />130th Street south to their employee parking lot. In light of the City's <br />policy regarding requiring bituminous surfaced roads in the City, the City <br />Council reluctantly approved this request by Wilson Tool, subject to the <br />following: <br />
