/S3 <br />City Council meeting of December 4, 1989 <br />Fuge 5 <br />McAllister made motion, Vail. seconded, to approve the site pl,�F,r, <br />application of Rick- Johnson„ on behalf of J.R. Johnson Supply, for the <br />construction of four 30' x 96' greenhouses at 4860 North Frenchman Road. <br />This approval is subject to the following special conditions: <br />1. At no time shall the site in question be reduced to less than fifteen <br />(15) acres in size as a result of subdivision and further development <br />of this property for other uses. <br />^. Access to the site in question shall be from County State Aid Highway <br />#8, and the service driveway off Everton Avenue shall be eliminated by <br />July 1, 1990. <br />?. All structures shall be constructed as per the site plan submitted, <br />and shall. be built in compliance with the City's building codes. <br />4. There shall be no retail sales and/or advertisinq on site without an <br />amended site plan. <br />5. The applicant shall secure the required special use permits for <br />construction and maintenance of the fuel storage tank -s on site, and <br />shall maintain them in a manner acceptable to the City Fire Marshall. <br />b. There shall be no exterior storage of equipment and machinery on site. <br />7. The site in question shall be used only for the uses specified in the <br />application and shown on the site plan. <br />8. Garbage and refuse service shall be provided, and there shall be no <br />burying of materials or other refuse on site. <br />9. The applicant shall allow access to the property in question, at <br />reasonable times, by City staff to assure conformance with this site <br />plan approval and the special conditions of said approval. <br />10. A $2,000 letter of credit shall be provided to assure conformance with <br />this site plan approval, which shall run through July 31, 1990, and <br />shall be forfeited for noncompliance with the site plan approvals and <br />Special use permit. <br />All ave. Motion Carried. <br />COUNCIL PRIORITIES <br />At the November- 2'0, 1989 regular meeting of the Hugo City Council, a <br />priorities questionnaire was submitted to Council members in an effort to <br />Open a dialogue on future community priorities. It was our hope that the <br />Council could complete this questionnaire and then discuss additional. <br />priorities that they identify on their questionnaires. Once priorities <br />are compared by the various members of the City Council, it is the intent <br />of ti -:e staff to tabulate the results and place them in order of priority, <br />based on the ranking points. The City Council would then review the list <br />and establish their final priority ranking for future implementation. <br />The.. following additions were offered by Councilman Dearne Vail: <br />1. Designate a. single refuse hauler- for the community. <br />2 Obtain c,rooerty for construction of housin❑ for elderly. <br />Mayor Atkinson - <br />1. Update comp plan and land -Use map. <br />2. Upgrade downtown sidewalks arid curbing. <br />
